I have worked on R V for 45 years now. DO NOT SWAP OUT THE GUTS OF THE REGULATOR. I got my face burned from a "rebuilt regulator" in the same location as your regulator in the refrigerator vent area leaking regulator near flame. Remove regulator from refrigerator area and install regulator on the L P tank.
I suspect they did it this way because there is too much gas consumption to supply it through the small line at low pressure. There are three furnaces, a gas range, and the refrigerator all running off this line.
Copy your info. Get a high-capacity L P regulator from Marshall excelsior products. part number megr-291h. more than enough flow to run your system. I use that part number on M H that have a L P powered generator and two heaters. Thanks for your response. Mike

Check you furnaces for function, they are usually the most dependent on having enough column.
Working good 👍
Looks like you're getting all of the systems ironed out. Does your fridge only work on propane or will it run off electricity as well?
It's a two way propane/AC unit.
