Looking at these at the moment. Was out for a walk the other day and myself and my Guide Dog were a little confused. Had to take the phone out of my pocket and video call my mum told me there was a whole boat parked on the footpath. Being able to video call her on WhatsApp through the glasses means my hands would be free. I think that’s the selling point for me. Would be fantastic if it worked with Be My Eyes Price tag isn’t too bad either
Thank you for the video. I would love these glasses to help with walking (and running - so can run without a guide!). It would be great to get an alert if there's a dip in the pavement coming up, a hazard ahead, or if you're deviating off your line. Are there any signs that they might do this?
I would appreciate it if people understood that these glasses were not designed for the blind consumption. Rather, the fact that it has some accessibility features, it means that is designed for many people to use, including blind people.
It does read signs but it's hit or miss depending on the distance. They are cool for some things, but they are not that advanced where you can rely on them to get you around practically. Meaning you can walk up to a sign and it can read it but not practical for driving and reading signs on the move
Thank you for posting this! I had the Ray-Ban Stories for years but recently sat on them. 😅☠️ I got my new Ray-Ban Metas yesterday and they are SO much better! Still learning the new features, but already love them!
Would these benefit people who’re totally/essentially, congenitally blind? (Strong cane user, just have problems in grocery stores and airports.) Would it be better than a Glidance?
This needs way, way more views! Thank you for this review. I have been looking at the glasses for awhile now. Appreciate this.
Glad it was helpful!
The "what am I looking at" feature isn't available in the UK currently which is a great shame. As a visually impaired person this would be so great.

Would be amazing if we had the ability to zoom in stuff while looking at them. Is it possible with this pair of glasses?

Very well articulated.
Judging by how popular they are, I think people understand that. That or there are a lot more blind people out there than we think lol
I'm wondering if it reads road signs. How does it do with different types of reading like menus, signs and stores etc

Hi, can you give orders in another language? or just English?
Would these benefit people who’re totally/essentially, congenitally blind? (Strong cane user, just have problems in grocery stores and airports.)

We're going to be answering this on tomorrow's show!
These glasses are for fun. Cool and convenient for some things. Alot of potential but far from Jarvis
