I could never quite understand how we could get Life Force, granted it was a weaker port of Salamander 1, in the U.S. for the NES but, we couldn't get Salamander 2 in any form in the U.S. (without needing an emulator). I would have played the hell out of this.
Once you reach the second loop, you can no longer use continues... but unlike most other examples of the "Point of NO Continues" trope, second players can still join in here should things go downhill for you!
I would like an explanation please. Already is it playing on what medium? Because if it’s on an arcade, how does the free game system work? And finally why does he play a complete game again when he finished the game a first time? Thank you in advance for the answers
The game requires 2 loops to finish, you'll notice the second loop by the music changes in some stages in. The game also takes away continues in loop 2, while loop 1 you get unlimited continues.
@@Bloodreign1 Well I see it’s true that I noticed that some internships had different musics but I was expecting something more obvious, in any case thank you for taking the trouble to answer me.
"Will we make a vertical or a horizontal shoot 'em up?"
"Yes"
Please put konami:yes
Which direction will the game scroll.
Ohhh,, Up up down down left right left right.
"YOU CAN'T BEAT ME! NEVER!!"
I just did. Twice.
"I'm going to scare you, like you've NEVER been scared before!!!"
Fucking legendary.
Considering what pushovers final bosses in Gradius and Salamander have been up until this point, he really means it!

This Salamander 2 game, should have come out on Playstation 2. Since its catalog has Gradius 3, Gradius 4 and Gradius 5. Greetings!!
It did come out on Salamander Portable PSP, Saturn and PS1, sadly all relegated to Japan only, but I snagged all of them years ago.
You can play ps1 games on ps2 and ps3, so I do not understand your wish
Cant play Japan import on ps2 and ps3
@@eckteckteckk171 Yes you can on a Japanese ps2, ps3 and then there are many other ways of course as well.
This should have been included in the arcade classics anniversary collection. This, Gradius 3 and 4 as well.

It is taking a long time to release a game together Gradius / Salmander. Remake In the future or soon
This is technically actually Gradius 3
@CastleVanity but isn't this the 3rd game
Technically, you're actually both right
I'm just happy it's not a pachinko machine.
But there is already a gradius 3
Nemesis 3 ;-)

Once Again, Fly The Vic Viper And Stop The Bacterion Salamander Forces And Destroy The Core In Konami's Arcade Hit Salamander 2!
Drunkard Mori 😂
I love the nicknames devs used so they couldn't be poached by competitors.
Vic Viper und Super Cobra haben entschlossen, die Konami-Galaxie vor Imperator Doom zu retten! Unglaublich!!!

Insanely hard, even harder than 1, cannot get past stage 1 without dying, while in 1 I can get as far as stage 5, thankfully it has unlimited credits

It feels wrong not to have the power meter....
the first game doesn't have power meter too

This needs a Psn, Switch, steam and Xbox live release
Awesome, but not as good as Axelay or sexy parodius

It's look like gradius game
Made by the same company so yeah
Salamander is basically a Gradius spinoff
It's a blatant crime that this game never came out for consoles, pathetic
Well, this game was released for the PlayStation and Sega Saturn as part of Salamander Deluxe Pack Plus collection, Japan only...
