I’ll stop beating around the bush. I’m referring to the large amount of Tate content on your channel. You seem to post mostly his life advice rather than his shit talking bits, which is good. But also remember that teenagers watch his stuff too, and their not always able to distinguish between silly jokes and genuine advice. I work at a school, and there are a few boys here that have taken an interest to Tate recently. And in my view it hasn’t had a positive effect on them. They’ve isolated themselves from the rest of their classes, they interact with basically no one in this school anymore, not even amongst themselves. They’ve become meaner and more aggressive towards other students and teachers alike, and as result they’ve become pretty hated and their grades have suffered. I’ve approached them all, but only one actually wanted to talk with me. He talked about escaping the “Matrix” but when I asked him what this “Matrix” is, he could only mumble some vague stuff about the media and politicians and how schools are trying to control him and stuff like that. I don’t know what the plans for his future are. (I doubt he has any, he’s 14 so that’s fine) But no matter what, he will need to have a basic education, he will need to have the necessary social skills to deal with people he doesn’t like. And so far he seems to be regressing in all these areas. I’m legitimately worried about him. I guess he’s grown some muscles, so at least there’s that. Anyway, that was a longer comment than I anticipated. I’m aware that I can’t blame the boy’s behaviour solely on Tate, but he definitely has a significant influence on them. And I also realise that’s just an anecdote I brought to the table, but hey, you said that you value personal experience and this is mine. In any case, just be sure to stay true to your word and regularly check if your believes are reasonable and good for yourself, in fact I would recommend you also get some on opinion on this from friends and family.
