@@alexandergonzalez751 Google "soundguys arctis 7 review" which has a voice sample from the microphone. Sounds like this guy in the video has some voice modulation software running, or has a faulty unit, because that's definitely not what it sounds like.

I've had the original arctis 7 for over 2 years now and it works great. Sound quality is way better than any cheap wired headset I had before. It doesn't have the best base but it does have some base and the sound quality is great overall. The battery on full charge will last like 12 hours + and the battery charges very quickly - a 20-30min charge will easily give 5-6 hours. The transmitter range is also very good and easily goes through 2-3 brick walls so I easily move throughout the house and even outside.
Unfortunately after daily use (as in like I don't even use conventional speakers anymore) the charging port and/or charging circuits are worn out and mine wont charge properly. I like my original arctis 7 headset so much that I want to get a second replacement pair (rather than risk disappointment with something else) so I thought I'd watch a few reviews of the 2019 edition to see what its about and if its improved over the original its a go for me.

what bout simultaneous audio inputs? can you, for example, plug USB into PS4 and use the line in on the wireless dongle to plug aux into a PC and listen to both audios at the same time?
I was initially turned off from buying these from all the youtube reviews absolutely shitting on it, I eventually bought it as I kept hearing about this "2019" edition.
I dont think steelseries has done a good job of making this revision known because every negative thing previews reviews ive watch match up with the solid product that I bought.

Hey. I haven't used it in a call, but for listening to music and playing games it seems fine. The quality is pretty good, but I would say it's better on a PC where you can install the software and configure the audio and use the processing enhancements offered by the software. The headphones come with a cable to connect them to your phone.

@@ECPUz And just one last question, I liked more Arctis 7 because it seemed to me an improvement for Arctis 3, but whenever I see on TH-cam it seems that the 7 has better sound quality, but on the other hand seem quite equal, and so far I can not see a big difference without being in the design

I've just ordered these recently and am waiting for them to be delivered. Coming from the Afterglow AG7's which sound great but seem to have issues with the sound being reversed in each ear. Apparently it is a known issue and hasn't/won't been fixed. These arctis 7's were recommended from a few people. So i'll give them a try.
How have they been? I've just ordered them as well.
@@rehszi They're ok. I bought them with the intention they would work with Xbox (wired) and i would also use them to stream on twitch. They do work wired with Xbox but you lose most of the sound quality and functionality. I may return them and look for something else :(

I'm watching this video in 2160p, but the video quality is still a bit blurry. For an example the text in steelseries engine 3 isn't readable.
Such a shame that Steelseries didn't go with a good microphone instead of that subpar one they went with :(

Mtzice , i haven’t yet experienced any difficulties to do with the mic. My friends have told me it’s worse than the stealth 600. I probably haven’t set them up too good. The arctic have good durability, look expensive, have an amazing sound and the mic is alright. Overall, an amazing headset. I got the turtle beach because I’ve had them before and know the sound is extremely good.

The Microphone sounds bad cause you have the Sound Format on Telephone Quality on the windows sound settings change it to highest quality
Not true, I do not have the sound format set to telephone. For a true apples-to-apples comparison when testing microphones, I always use the same quality setting of "CD Quality" which is one setting from the highest. If you watch the mic test in this video: th-cam.com/video/1WTjdp5WfQc/w-d-xo.html it is tested with the exact same Windows system settings, yet is noticeably cleaner.
However, your point is important for anyone that might be using the lower quality settings like "telephone", so I have pinned a comment to help anyone that might be doing that. Cheers!

Yeah. It doesn't use bluetooth. That's how they get the latency down. If you want a BT headset, I recommend the sony xm series cans. They lag a bit in games tho. Good for vids and any application where you can adjust the delay though.
best headset for college doesn't bother with wires and most importantly the microphone is hidden until needed so you don't look stupid
But you cant bluetooth it onto ur phone and need the dongle for ur laptop

Theres much difference betweens SteelSeries Arctis 7 - Lossless Wireless vs SteelSeries Arctis Pro + GameDAC Wired??
Arctis Pro apparently has better speakers with better sound quality over all. I'm no audio expert but this is what I've read and heard: wired connections generally have better sound quality than wireless because wired has more bandwith than wireless 2.4ghz for example wireless is capped at 24bit 48khz audio quality whilst wired can go 24bit 96khz and upwards.The corsair virtuoso headset has both wired and wireless modes and in wired mode its 24bit 96khz and wireless 24 bit 48khz.
I think the lossless Steelseries refers to means that there is no or very little lag and degradation in sound quality until it cuts out. My original arctis 7 suffers no sound quality degradation the further I move from my PC, it sounds normal but will just suddenly cut out if the signal gets too weak.
Can you connect your phone to the usb hub via 3.5 cable and still take calls/use the mic at the same time as hearing in game audio? (example) Usb connected to PS4 or pc.....then phone connected via 3.5 to hub.....would you be able to hear incoming calls/listen to streaming music/audio?

i have the hs70 wireless , had them RMA once, week later, said im pissed off coz the same issue happened (left cup louder than right- right cup dead) and got a refund aproval without asking for it. corsair wireless headsets need to be taken off shelves asap

The wireless capability is the difference. The sound is almost the same. They feel the same on my head.The Mic is the same for me too. But the Arctis 3 cannot be configured with the software because it uses 3.5mm Jack.
