The MOST Megalodon Teeth We've EVER Found in a Day | Our Best Shark Tooth & Fossil Hunt of the Year!

  • This was a WILD fossil hunting trip to another brand new location! We did not know what to expect when we started this day, but it turned out to be one of the most successful fossil hunting trips we've had in a while! It is very, very rare for a scouting/exploration trip to yield this many excellent finds, but this little creek is loaded with fossils, literally paving the bottom and banks everywhere we looked. In all, we found at least 20 megalodon teeth, not to mention all of the fossils from giant crocodiles, elephant-like animals called gomphotheres, extinct three-toed horses, camels, a rhino, whales/dolphins, dugongs and tons of other species of shark besides megalodon.

I grew up in Jacksonville and would take my mother's colander down to the creek and shovel up shark's teeth one day I lay on my side and decided to see how far I could get my hand in the mud I lay my hand right on a big 4-in megalodon tooth I thought I was seeing things when I pulled it up. Think I'll go back there. Its been about fifty years. Thanks you two.

I came across your channel recently, I was in disbelief at the ease you find fossils. After watching one of your dirt road shark vids, I decided to take my two teens fossil hunting on a random dirt road near me (I'm also in FL), not five minutes in my daughter found a shark tooth! All in all it was a great day, she even found a small juvenile Meg tooth! Thanks for your content Cris!

I’m sure I will have lots of questions like is where you’re finding these only in the low lands like Florida I watched a show the other day where they were talking about the walls of the Grand Canyon and how everything that they’re finding is showing that the earth was flooded quickly and horrifically kind of like where are you guys are there finding all the complete animals thrown into a pile like they were swept away in an instant hold herds of animals swept away? Great show very INTELLIGENT YOUNG MAN! SHOULD WE CALL HIM DR?

i alway think people miss the biggest take away or have even thought deeply about the realness of when these videos surface. and its that something died 10s 100s or up to millions of years ago there or around there(almost an inconceivable amount of years to process) and the sediment or dirt fills have eroded enough to where us humans in 2021 can find them literally in a creek in what we call a state or country that was once an entirely different continent. its absolutely insane that these things once roamed or swam and we can find remnants of them in a simple creek lost in the woods or beaches of current day civilization. absolutely beautiful!
