I SAW THE NEW VAN'S VLOG 1ST AND SAW THIS VLOG IT SHOWS ALL THE UPGRADES. YOU GUYS DID A GREAT JOB INTRODUCING VERY GOOD IDEAS. 1 QUESTION YOUR 5 GAL. SOAP BUCKET IS IT CUT AREADY WITH WATER OR STR8 AND DILUTES WHEN FOAM IS APPLIED TO CARS .
Can you please go into detail on what kind of hose and how you set up the red cleaner spray, i want to try and use that method but i have no clue where to start and where to find the nozzles or anything
The van may seem like a disaster at first glance but once you watch the whole video you realize just how much this crew has going on. This van is no joke - This is a shop on wheels. This ain't a rig ! This thing rules.
@@kennyono4389 it's just to many things connected to each is own .but my setup is simple and clean but they are doing alot of different things I'm sure they most likely change things
You should just connect the fuel line from the generator tank to your pressure washer engine with a T and shut off valve. You could run both off one tank and have way more run time between refueling on your pressure washer.
Great set up. I have a question how do you get the soup to travel through the long line? Are you using a pump? I would like to set up my soap and a bucket and run a line along side my water hose going the same way you guys have it set up.
What kind of water pump are you guys running? I was using the harbor freight dupont transfer pump and its starting to smell burnt. Definitely looking for something with auto on off
Yeah harbor freight pump not good. Here is a link to Amazon pump that auto on/off Flojet 03526-144A Triplex Diaphragm Automatic Water System Pump, 2.9 GPM 50 PSI, 12 volt DC www.amazon.com/dp/B002P33KVQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_bYVqDb82606TG

Thanks. I have been trying to do basic google research and there doesn't seem to be a lot of clear concise information especially as it elates to costs. All the sites require you to call in and speak to someone and I just want to a ballpark idea of costs etc... Cheers and thanks for the vids
Peter Puck II So I currently use culligan, but it's pricey so I think I found a unit on Amazon that will bring down the cost, from almost $200 per tank to about $90. But don't know how well it will work so I'll have to purchase and review it. So I'll try to go in to details on video. But please be patient I'm really busy with work plus at home. 😁
Awesome thanks for the quick costs. Really looking forward to seeing a video on it when you have a chance. I haven't seen any of the other TH-cam detailers go through the effort of Deionizing their water supply so I am interesting in hearing more about it from you, cheers!
Well you need some kind a commercial van or truck where you can carry equipment, need a water tank, generator, vacuum, pressure washer, that's the main things. Then later in the business you can pick up other equipment like buffer, steamer, ect
seri ranjan Maraimuthu it all depends how much water you use little to alot for exterior only anywhere from 35 to 55 vehicles but that's how much I use someone else can probably get more vehicles done.
I'm watching your video bro how about trying to clean up your van and u can eliminate all those tanks in there and use 5gallons for your degreaser. I don't need all that in your van just building junk in there lol I have a Mobile Detailing business and I do everything out of my car I have a Mazda 6 sport I don't use a water tank at all and I charge my customers just for labor and products.
hi Jairo, I use deionized water (it does not leave any water spots) so I don't worry about drying the vehicle, while vehicles drys I go on interior when done then I dry the outside if there is any water left on the car.
jairo sandoval and I stick to wash service on mobile, not detail. there is more money in it for me. so I need lots of water that's why I have that big 200 gallon, cuz I fill it at the shop with special water (deionized) that does not leave hard water. and I want to have a lot of it so I don't waste time refilling in between jobs. same thing with my 15 gallon cleaner less worry about refilling it every day. 😊👍🖒
Toly's Detailing Vlogs so you more of a wash business then? To me that's a waist of time and no money what u do wash 8 cars I make that in one Detail Or more. And I use regular water and I never have that problem with water leaving spots.
jairo sandoval well so I think you just started somewhere with in a year??? trust me when I thought only details bring money, and it's about saving time on drying cars. my problem is I don't rush a detail I do a good job and that takes time. on wash service I do about anywhere from 3 to 13 vehicle a day. i charge $50 for cars and $60 trucks/suvs also when I go out 30 miles I charge on site fee of $100 I spend about 6-7 hours on 10 vehicles, oh and Monday thru Friday I have setup contracts for wash service only it can be 3 cars per day with I don't mind getting a break or it can be 8 vehicles to 10. and do the math for me and for your self how much money you make on a detail verses I on wash service.
jairo sandoval oh and her is one vlog were I do a detail, I only do details at the shop, don't get me wrong detail package pay more but time spent comes out making more money in wash service at least for me. 😊 th-cam.com/video/mn_-TEBGk7k/w-d-xo.html
you guys should install setups for mobil carwash instead of washing lol you'll probably make more money nice job 👌 it helped me get some ideas for the setup on my astro van thanks
i appreciate your passion about engineering. but don't u think that its way too much engineering for a valeting van? if one thing goes wrong within all critical connections during your main job (car valeting) it will be frustrating or time consuming process after all😕
Dr.Detail ya I get busy as hell too and sometimes I literally don’t wash my rig for a mont or two straight. It’s hard to find time to be honest but for me there are no excuses when it comes to doing the interior. I have to have things clean out away organized and ready to go in my rig. If I don’t do it when I finish my day I will make sure to before I start getting comfortable haha
Thanks for making the video of ur detailing van.very nice setup!!! Love your videos & ur family. Thanks
Nice set-up, great content. Keep the funnies going.

Thanks
Awesome set up 🙌🏾🙌🏾

Where do you get your water source? I imagine your water bill would be high if you fill up from your garden hose.
At my shop, becuase i have a deionized tank, for spot free rinsing.
Great set up. I have a question how do you get the soup to travel through the long line? Are you using a pump? I would like to set up my soap and a bucket and run a line along side my water hose going the same way you guys have it set up.

Dude your van is filthy on the inside just a complete mess although it does seem efficient
no dont own a van but surelt there is a better way to organise your van which makes it easy to maintain a clean van
maybe its different in the uk but for me personally that doesnt not look good for a detailing business
and sure a quick tidy inside once a month on your day off or after work isnt too much work?
