I jave asked this a couple of times before, wanted to know is it ok to say in an assessment that i have to pay people to do certain things in the home such as housework and so on ?
Yes. My daughter comes every morning to help with my dressing except weekend she has four children. A friend comes once a week to do my shopping. I can't walk around a supermarket for long so she takes me. I sometimes hire mobility scooter if I'm really bad. Another comes once a week to do cleaning. I have paid them both an hourly rate that I would pay a carer to do the same things, they didn't want anything but I insisted. DWP knows this. I have a chiropodist visit once a month. My pip helps pay for this.
@TheMargoCHANNING thank you for replying, yes both my daughters take turns with housework and I pay them because they could be working but don't because of helping me, and I pay anyone's else to do other household things that I'm unable to do anymore because of lifting stretching or anything that takes physical body work I'm just unable to do anymore, thank you again x
In a similar way I have had it Noted by my GP that one of my Physical And Mental Health triggers was "..having to pay another man to come to our house to do basically Everything that I used to do when I was physically well. That was a problem for me, as I kept trying to do the stuff that I'd always been capable of doing myself - decorating, w/working, small building projects & especially All car Servicing, repairs & replacements!" Going from doing that - and including our 4 girls to help them be confident & capable of doing those traditionally "male" DIY projects for themselves. Our Housewarming Gift to 3 of them was an B&Q DIY Toolkit! 😢P0D
Charlie, there are a lot of nasty comments about you trying to look like a lawyer on your thumbnails. Maybe change the pic by wearing something pink and also just remind the people that you are doing as a consultancy job - you are actually a consultant. I do agree it is a lot of money but it is up to you what you want to charge. I am struggling to get money together for a dyslexia diagnosis so will be one of those who can’t afford you. But nevertheless, your videos are great. Thank you!
Depends how much you're willing to pay for her services because they are not cheap, especially if you are already on benefits. Looking at her website, 1-1 video calls start at £450 for 2 hours going up to £950 for a 4 hour session. Now I certainly wouldn't call that cheap!
Hi Charlie, hope you are well. Firstly id like to thank you for all these valuable information. A family member has recently been diagnosed with a life long heart disease however she if able live as normal without any help whatsoever. She decided to apply for PIP and answered no to all the questions and was pretty confident she would be refused and not awarded PIP as she as no difficulties with carrying out any of the activities asked on the form. However, she as been called in for a face to face assessment. Why would she be asked to attend an appointment when she answered No to all the questions? She feels attending the appointment will be a total waste of time. What are your thoughts on this?
Charlie my wife has been diagnosed with carpal tunnel, nodes and osteoporosis in her hands and knees. She no longer can be trusted to cook a meal as she has dropped some pans and plates in the kitchen as it’s not safe.I have had to take control of all cooking duties, and I have changed my hours of work.Do I have to make them aware of this I also administer her cream for her as she cannot reach the back of her knees and the back of her hands.
Your wife applies for PIP and under each descriptor she explains how her conditions affect her doing those tasks and the fact she cannot progress them safely. She should concentrate on her case, but could mention she needs help or needs somebody else to do the tasks.
My dad has stage 4 copd and he had to go all the way to the tribunal stage to win it back. So you don't automatically get it with terminal illnesses. DWP must employ a bunch of sociopaths to do the dirty work.

Charlie, a lot of your info is very helpful, but I find the title to this video is misleading. As you know, it's not medical conditions that entitle a person to PIP, but HOW their medical condition/ conditions affect them. Example, one person with arthritis could be crippled, and another person be able to cope just fine. I have arthritis . I am awarded PIP, but for something else. I didn't claim for the arthritis cos it doesn't really affect my daily life just yet. Dunno if your heading is an attempt to draw more folk to your video, but it could attract interest from benefit fraudsters. Just saying ......

My social worker was here with me for the video link. So anyway it got adjourned.
Hi Charlie, when asked 'does your medication work' what is the best response because I know you should never say 'sometimes' but what is the best reply. I'd love a definitive answer. Thanks
A friend of mine works at a gp’s surgery and she said people who have animals, a mortgage or a partner who earns a good salary are declined. She sees this every day. She said I will waste my time applying even if I have ME/Fibromyalgia/ADHD/undiagnosed dyslexia since my husband works…. She says she sees 100s of application a denied etc….
Hi, I've had experience of owning pets (2 Guinea pigs) being used against me, for an ESA review..(ESA is a means tested benefit)..The assessor's view was I could care for them, therefore was not as bad as had stated... Nothing about how pets actually bring so much joy if you have mental health issues & it's encouraged to have a pet... She actually scored me zero points on my whole form, so did a Manual Reconsideration, & won...If you have a dog, they will ask how you walk it, that means you are able to go out, walk your dog etc - so, you can't be that ill, sort of thing.... It's all down to the assessor you see, unless you're lucky to get a paper based assessment & decision is made based on your form & supplied evidence.
While PIP etc are obviously needed for those who need them, you DO realise you are also preparing cheats on how to 'correctly' answer these questions? I assume there is thorough validation before decisions are made.
The "cheats" as you call them would also need evidence reports from doctors, psychiatrists or heart doctors etc. They don't just give it willy nilly. The biggest cheats are the gruberment for their 3 houses, nobody ever mentions that though!
So she shouldn't help people who need help because it might help people who are gaming the system? That would leave a lot of unwell and deserving people in a very difficult circumstances. Is that what you are advocating for? PIP is a tough system to game, purely because of the medical evidence you require. Unfortunately a hell of a lot of alcoholics and drug addicts get PIP and I have a real issue with that. Firstly are those actually disabilities? Second should self inflicted disability even count? The money should be paying for rehab, not subsiding the ongoing substance abuse.
@@TheCho-k4m One issue does not nullify another! Plain fact - in every video intro, this channel owner proudly stated how "very, very, VERY good I am at filling out these forms...I have rarely LOST" !!! --> So yes, she is 100% happy to encourage watchers to game/fake this system.
@@ChrisM541@ChrisM541 are you having some kind of episode? She isn't doing anything of the sort. Also, you didn't answer my question. Are you advocating that disabled people receive no help in making a claim?
You would have to have a screw loose to try and get PIP as a cheat! It's had enough for genuine people! In addition, the DWP like evidence from Doctors/Consultants and a health care professional can turn up at your house....!
She spends a lot of time with them and fills the form out in great detail. It's a horrible process. One of the worst official document based processes I've ever been through. It's hard to get people to help you with it and she knows the process so well. Also a lot of organisations will charge you for it and not do a good a job as she has done.

Can I ask. How you would add an evidence photo to a PIP assessment ? I presume you mean print off and add to the main document ?
Charlie, how does someone contact you directly?
They list conditions in newspapers too for pip.
@@jackieharris4681 no problem 😁
In a similar way I have had it Noted by my GP that one of my Physical And Mental Health triggers was "..having to pay another man to come to our house to do basically Everything that I used to do when I was physically well. That was a problem for me, as I kept trying to do the stuff that I'd always been capable of doing myself - decorating, w/working, small building projects & especially All car Servicing, repairs & replacements!"
Going from doing that - and including our 4 girls to help them be confident & capable of doing those traditionally "male" DIY projects for themselves. Our Housewarming Gift to 3 of them was an B&Q DIY Toolkit!

They also told me either take anti ddepressants or we will stop your money the dwp threatened me honstly
Same here
Are they sending out review forms later than the usual year before its due to end?.....seeing as they are majorly backlogged?.....
Gosh she must be a lawyer then ? Changing that much 😮
How much 😂 that's a ridiculous amount!
Charlie are you a lawyer? What yours qualifications?
She's not a lawyer@@GlamorousLioness
She's not a lawyer
My husband has ankylosing spondylitis, autism, depression. Crontic fatigue. Uses a cpac but has been refused pip twice. Can you help him get it?
My dad has stage 4 copd and he had to go all the way to the tribunal stage to win it back. So you don't automatically get it with terminal illnesses. DWP must employ a bunch of sociopaths to do the dirty work.
Newspaper articles say that certain conditions 'could' get you PIP, I agree, it is very misleading, how is your appeal going?
Can I just confirm what I have heard. Do you charge between £450 & £950 to help fill forms out? Thanks.
what ????????????????????????? seriously ?? or are you a troll

Can you help me Charlie?

Hi charlie iv had a letter pip saying iv got my pip for a year. So what does this mean? Im confusd?
That they are allowing you to have it for a year, then you'll need to start the dreaded process of trying to get it again after the year is up. Theyll contact you a month before.
Got one leg and other health conditions and just got took off daily living component
Is this was a review, you continue to the Mandatory Reconsideration, explaining why you think you you should have got those points. Write to the DWP do not call them. If the Mandatory Reconsideration fails you appeal through a tribunal!
Thanks 👍
Not true. I have a mortgage, and my husband works full time as well as doing everything for me. I receive both elements of PIP at the higher rate. PIP is not means-tested
@@sandrabell2940 absolutely true pip it not means tested x it proves she knows nothing once again.
Well she’s a benefit fraudster herself so…
@@sandrabell2940 well she dresses like a lawyer in her profile , she lost her own pip claim , she charges €650 and often losses cases like her own she very misleading and a con artist ! She needs to change her picture it's misrepresentation. I agree with you the title is .

Charlie i am really confused as to WHY YOU HAVE NOT... updated on the pip voucher situation ? have you been warned off ?? you have been silent for ages regarding something that you were reporting on upto the week where we were supposed ot get the big news... I am so naffed off with PIP. I don't go, I have Ataxia, I explain how it affects me. I went to tribunal (video link) and judge person had 1 piece of paper. Well I have over 50 pages, sent to me from appeals??!! I have been trying for 20 months to get PIP. I don't have physio, and OT for fun.
I am in Northern Ireland, so Capita does our assessments. I have a lady who filled in my last appeal (2nd), this it what she does.
I am a very patient person, and I am not going to go into how my condition affects. But PIP here has been very
awful. My social worker was here with me for the video link. So anyway it got adjourned.
Keep fighting 💪

Hi Charlie, when asked 'does your medication work' what is the best response because I know you should never say 'sometimes' but what is the best reply. I'd love a definitive answer. Thanks
I think Reeves will make PIP means tested in the next budget, like the winter fuel allowance.
I keep reading that they won't announce anything till April
A friend of mine works at a gp’s surgery and she said people who have animals, a mortgage or a partner who earns a good salary are declined. She sees this every day. She said I will waste my time applying even if I have ME/Fibromyalgia/ADHD/undiagnosed dyslexia since my husband works…. She says she sees 100s of application a denied etc….
Hi hun just apply tell them everythinvg your bad days..i have what you have i get the full amount
Thank you for your reply… how long did your application take? x
Rubbish
Not means tested
Gosh😮
you mean you charged people to help them win pips
So?? What have you done to help anyone criticiser??

She spends a lot of time with them and fills the form out in great detail. It's a horrible process. One of the worst official document based processes I've ever been through. It's hard to get people to help you with it and she knows the process so well. Also a lot of organisations will charge you for it and not do a good a job as she has done.
