Like us on Facebook @ / 2redline A car that could wear a Lexus badge, if Lexus didn't essentially already have a version of this car in the form of the 2013 ES350. Nevertheless, still a nice car, but we do think Toyota has too many "versions" of this vehicle.
"Its price of entry may be higher than those of its rivals, but if you're looking for a refined, well-built full-size sedan in the $30,000 price bracket, the 2011 Toyota Avalon is a top-notch choice."

@@yanika4969 yeah especially if you have the limited model it's worth it, don't know why he would review base model, he also didn't mention backup camera and the reclining rear seats. IMO the newer ones prior to 2019 remodel were ok which is why I've had this since 2013, there are aftermarket mods to get blind spot monitoring and if one wants sporty feel to have bigger wheels, lower suspension and body kit.

@@panafrocanam2100 The car would shudder at 40 mph so what I did was flush out 4 quarts total of transmission fluid, cleaned the magnets as it collects metal shavings, and replaced transmission filter plus gasket. The shuddering is gone. Yes, it’s a sealed transmission but I still recommend the maintenance.

I rented one of these and unless you are a sports car enthusiast, the car is fast for us normal folks. The brakes aren’t “mushy”, it’s just a smooth riding car with pretty good road feel and the brakes feel is fine. This is a great vehicle if you like premium car options without the premium car price. This car’s interior also looks better than its 2013 and newer Lexus ES series counterpart, which now looks very utilitarian. This vehicle will stand the test of time in all areas.

Shit I am 33 and I have a 2011 limited. I am damn happy with it and it is quick. Fast enough to merge at absolutely any speed with complete ease. Fast enough to merge in with those other spoiled millennials that like to weave in and out with their wrx’s, 370z’s and beamers. It is way to crowded to drive “enthusiastically” these days. Take that shit to race track, not the street. Most of us are trying to get to point a to point b without getting into a wreck.

In 2022, if your in your mid 20’s with how expensive everything is in 2022, I would buy this Avalon if you care for having power but not having sportiness, it’s a extremely comfortable ride, extremely reliable especially if you live in places with no rust, I’m 24 years old here in 202/, I owned sporty cars like the 08 Acura TSX and I recently bought a 2007 Camry V6 XLE with navigation, fully loaded for 07, I love it, yeah it’s sucks in corners but is so smooth and so comfortable, going 80mph on cruise control is a complete breeze

I'm 18 and I grew up with my Grandpa raising me so I picked up his personality. So I'm 18 years old but 70 years old at heart. My Grandpa loved these kinda cars. He had a Regal, a Lincoln, and a few Chryslers, so I would pick this up in an instant. My Great Uncle has one of these and I got to ride in one in it, and I fell in love with it. Also I would keep it for 30 years since it is a Toyota.

Yes ! Just take care of it oil changes make sure water pump was changed around 100k miles ! My 1999 Avalon currently has 235k miles and I'm about to purchase a 2012 with 110 k miles

@@xxsilver_gamingxx389 because it's 20 years old about to be 21 so I want to be a little premptive before things start to break plus I'm due for water pump/timing belt change along with brakes which is over 1 k to fix and change engine and transmission are fine but just ready for a newer car now 😊

Uh, no it doesn't. It has one of the best interiors in its class.

Agreed that this is my favorite Toyota lol. They did such a ncie job on the interior in it, then butchered the Camry and the rest. Go figure. My friends mom has an 06 Limited that they have had since new with 140k on it. I drove it from Minneapolis to Chicago and holy moly what a road machine... so much power to with that V6 haha

It was incredibly insulting how you kept making stereotype after stereotype of older folks driving habits. You seem to think you know how older people feel and behave, but you don't. Older people also appreciate sporty cars. They appreciate quick steering. And not to mention crisp brakes. When you get older yourself you will learn this, but for now you display the typical youthful ignorance that older people want cars that drive like slow tanks, when most older folks don't. Grow up please.

I'm in my mid thirties and I actually enjoy cars that drive like tanks. Not boats..TANKS! Tanks are badass too, but this car reviewer wouldn't know it. lol

It's a solid Toyota but a bit pricey for what it is.

I make stereotypes in a joking matter, relax... I know that not every older person feels that way, I just don't know many that are like that.
