I've shared the stage with these guys three different times, once at the Milwaukee Metal fest. Kirk is one of the nicest dudes you'll ever have the pleasure to meet. I've seen that people call him "fat" he's thick, and I'd like to see someone say that to his face. knowing him personally he'd probably laugh, agree, and then offer you a beer. He's the real deal, no b.s.
It's not a voice you will hear on american idol but the the feeling he puts behind it makes it oh so awesome

Man! What is up with people calling Kirk "fat"? He's stocky, and it fits his image. Take a look at those forearms. That isn't fat, that's solid muscle, guys. You can see solid muscle tone there. To me, his stockiness fits well with the music. Who wants to see skinny runts running around on the stage? With that voice, he looks more intimidating with his size. It ain't all fat, and ,what is fat-so stinking what?

Not certain as to why you find it necessary to say what you said ,danblaze83, but, you have it all wrong. I may be 53 years old, but am a very active musician, who accidentally wandered upon this band. I regret it in that I can't stop listening to them. It was a compliment that went over your head.
Check Kingdom of sorrow, still active and playing in that band

Glad to hear that. I just wish he'd lay off the booze. Those dark circles around his eyes indicate he has a health problem, that, if he doesn't take care of, there won't be any more concerts or CD's. This may explain why there hasn't been anything new from them.

If it wasn't for Metallica these guys wouldn't really be able to do what they are doing in this video... Watch Get Thrashed, it's a thrash metal documentary on the early years of metal though the 80s. You might want to hate Metallica now...and for the past 20 years they've blown, but if you listen to their old music you might be surprised. And if you aren't then I'd be confused where you're comin from.
