You guys realize the other guitarist here is Steve Gibb right? To those that don't know, that's Barry Gibb's son, the lead Bee Gee lol So that's cool in it's own kinda way
The thing I love about Kirk is his voice. Each time he sings I hear someone that is tortured within. I love that. Keep it up Kirk. You're one of the greatest.
I love how Kirk starts the intro slightly hurried and faster than normal but the drummer brings him back to the groove immediately... Excellent job by the entire lineup. Steve Gibbs excellent job staying with Kirk and augmenting the solo and not enough can be said for Patrick Bruders on bass holy shit Patrick is a BEAST and again the kid on drums is perfect keeping it in groove mode.. Exceptional performance of this modern classic
@@88_TROUBLE_88 dont forget.. hands down awesomest drumming I've ever heard.. he unapologetically bottoms the bass drum out in the riffs and is all over the structure like I've never heard.
......the more I listen to this band the more I LOVE them.... I've never been into metal but this detuned sludge metal (Doom Core) is kind of addicting. I guess rough/coarse vocals is the norm for metal anyway. I plan to see them as soon as they get back to the US and tour the South. I would love to sit in with them sometimes too... I've been playing guitar 33 years..... 70-80's rock. Now, I want to detune and play some sludge metal ; . ) Planets Collide Peace and Love to Kirk and the boys : . )
I went to a municipal waste concert and crowbar was in the lineup. after the show my friend and i ran into kirk and he was super excited but i had no clue who i was. goddamn, i had no idea how lucky i was to meet this man.
when i was little my cousin listened to alot of crowbar(still does) its been what 10 years now and kirk still fuckin terrifies me. dude is huge and his voice is fuckin... like tearing sheet metal in a snadbox or something.
ive spent most of my days over my 26 years trying to find the heaviest, biggest, fatest of any genre and no mater how much time goes past i find my self coming back to this legend if any 1 knows any thing heavier pray tell.
I am in the middle right. Can I still remember how it thundered from the stage. All bones have vibrated. Mid-2000s was my favorite festival. WFF at the airport Roitzschjora in Saxony Germany. Today I'm not going anymore. Are there too many core bands for me! And audience with Spiderman, Borat costumes. ......
This guy can sing, he might not be belting out sounds like an Angel but none the less Kirk is a very talented individual. You go ahead and try it, tell me how well you do. Lets face it, Crowbar fucking rules. Peace
Swollen eyes that bleed for you Cold steel bars I'm watching thru You've been baptized in a lake of tears Crucified yourself with your own fears But you learn from what's killing you And this time it's real Beyond your prayers Too numb to feel Beyond your prayers Deepest darkest thoughts you dream Curing's harder than it seems Slave to no one but your misery Broken man lies where you used to be Now watch the planets collide
This song is absolutely towering, in terms of subject matter and of course the sheer heaviness for what Crowbar is known for.
WarHead it rules for certain
Fuck yea man
@@PapaKakaes Absolutely right. You obviously know what the fuck you're talking about because this does in fact RULE
@@88_TROUBLE_88 nice pfp

crowbar makes pain and heavyness come together into sonic beauty
Kirk writes such real shit, his songs have got me through some bad times. Rock on my Crowbar brother
Semper fi brother
One of the heaviest songs ever.
7 year old comment and it's never gotten less heavy. Right on bro.

The thing I love about Kirk is his voice. Each time he sings I hear someone that is tortured within. I love that. Keep it up Kirk. You're one of the greatest.
This isn't fat! It's pure power and strength!
bass player is a beast...
That's Patrick Bruders, I think... currently filling in for Rex Rokker in Down.
Pat is a monster
S L U D G E
@SharDarksoul this band is completely predicated on the pain in his voice. if you can't feel that, crowbar isn't for you.
Wilson Jimenez I have quoted you upon posting this on social media. Very nice sum up
In the words of Butt-head, "This music is slow and fat", fucking right, the way I like it!
TheBomber15 Yeah!He was like" that guy is taking a dump!"
TheBomber15 Yeah!He was like" that guy is taking a dump!"
Probably my favorite Crowbar song ever......"MAYBE!"
The power of the riff compells me

Christopher Frasher I thought the same with the tempo in the intro.

That drummer is Tommy Buckley.. check out his drum work on the soilent green album confrontation with ehg guitarist brian patton.

One does not dimply listen to Crowbar without loving them.

It almost looks feeble compared to the absolute monster it is nowadays..

I fuckin' love Crowbar. devastating riffs.
Kirk is the most under rated musician alive. No one can compare to the extreme melody and heaviness.
that guitar is cool looking
