  • Hey you guys, Chet Guthrie the Dream Poet here, coming to you all with another adventurous vlog! Join me today as we take a trip up to Manchester, Kentucky to see a petroglyph known as the Stone of Witness. The stone is said to predate Columbus by several hundred years. It is believed that 8 different old-world alphabets are etched into the artifact. In present times, however historians believe it may have been the Cherokee Nation when they lived in the region. But what if it is true? Could the Stone of Witness rewrite history? Remember, if you like the video make sure to hit the thumbs up button and subscribe for more awesome videos!

It’s quite possible that explorers arrived in the Americas long before widely recognized history, settling and developing their own cultures based on the knowledge and beliefs they brought with them. This could explain the diverse Native American tribes, each with their own gods and unique architecture. The idea becomes even more intriguing with evidence suggesting that Roman explorers, as well as Vikings and Norsemen, might have reached places like Minnesota. The history of early exploration and its impact on the Americas is truly fascinating.

Thank you for visiting our beautiful area and sharing some of our rich history here in Kentucky. My father grew up on the Red Bird River near Manchester. There is some history that the petroglyphs were vandalized which is why you see what appears to be white paint on some of the markings and also why it is protected behind a fence now. If you're interested, Salt Petre Cave is also a very interesting place, its near Mt. Vernon, Ky.

Ignatious Donnely's Atlantis the Antedeluvian World , published in 1882 , Does an interesting job in connecting the dots, so to speak on the commonalities of many of the cultures around the world . The problem , as I see it , with carvings in stone is , it is impossible to tell when the carvings were made .

I would ask the question how much of the truth do you wish to know? In your video you stated that the Hebrews and the Egyptians may have been here some time back, add the Greeks also to that statement. I can say that you are at the top layer of some major truth. Here is a just little.
As far as Bible geography is concerned it appears that the main person responsible for its misinterpretation was Constantine the Great, who had definite motives for transferring the arena of Jewish history and that of Christ to another region altogether. He used Christianity as a valuable political asset, selected the East as his Empire and with the aid of Eusebius, Jerome and others, invented the present Palestine. I cannot explore this very important and fascinating theme now, but hope to undertake it in the not very distant future, in a life of that remarkable monarch, who was born in York in the Bedern. If this be correct the present day Jews, who make a historical claim to Palestine are utterly wide of the mark.
It should be recalled that Hadrian (117-138) ,a peaceable emperor spent much of his time in Britain and he has left many traces in York and in other parts of the north. In 134 he was faced with this determined uprising of the people of Jerusalem ,with a new Messiah, who held the Romans at bay and fought them with desperate courage for two years. With his capture of the city and utterly weary of the Jewish priests and politicians, whom no generosity or conciliation could appease, it was said, Hadrian ordered the ancient city to be razed to the ground and forbade the Jews to approach it under peril of death except for one day in the year. The very site of Jerusalem was said to be forgotten by the world until Constantine “rediscovered” it. More if you would like.

There are some carvings that have weathered in a way that makes them appear very ancient, though some of the carvings appear somewhat fresh and are not likely to be ancient.
That said, the ancients did traverse the oceans and some Israelites did come to America in early times. There is much evidence to support this throughout the Northeast through the Southwest USA.

Plato's Hermocrates Dialogue was written in 360BC, it covers the original Ten Kingdoms of Atlantis. The Vikingar (Cretan Guard) took those Sagas in 1200BC. Snorri Sturleson rewrote Sagas in 1223AD after St. Clare Expedition over the St. Lawrence River in 1201AD, then the St. Clair Expedition in 1255AD, then Sinclair Expedition in 1362AD. Christianized Vikings are the Byzantine Empire which started in America 100AD-500AD sent to Spain (Gothic Crusades from Cordova Camelot to Constantinople), Leif Erikson 500AD-1000AD sent to Ireland (French Crusades), Templar Knights 1000AD-1500AD sent to Baltic Sea (Russian Crusades). Bartholomew and Christopher Columbus were on Bimini Island in 1459AD, where they discussed how young 10 year old Columbus would discover America in 1492AD. Sinclair Knights created Aztec and Incan Civilizations, the discovery of America was to bring Europeans to America to further those bloodlines, which it did. The Irish are American Indians. This seems to be as good a place as any to share this. In the Grand Canyon, many "Egyptian" type ruins have been found and covered up by the Smthsonian. Then there is a lot of ancient historical evidence to show that the Egyptians and Sumerians actually arrived In the Mediterranean area from somewhere else on boats from somewhere else that had suffered a great cataclysm. The people were large, some might say giants, they were Caucasian, and had beards and blue and green eyes. While the people of the Mediterranean were basically brown, straight haired, and brown eyed, beardless (they could not grow facial hair) and short of stature. It is the theory of some that these people were very technologically advanced but they had lost most of their infrastructure and that they probably came from the Americas. Places like Peru and easter island and the mound builders, and the tales of the Native Americans of large white, red haired giants that could single handedly wrestle a buffalo to the ground were the remnant of these people. Even the Natives say that places like puma puncu and the mound builders were done by a people that existed way before they arrived. What is described to us as "the new world", aka: the Americas, was probably actually the old world which suffered a great cataclysm. They may have been the people that we know of as the Egyptians today before they were Egyptians. The whole world suffered this cataclysm but the Americas were particularly devastated by it. Large areas of the world were submersed while other areas were pushed up. Some pockets of the world, remained but were also affected by huge tidal waves and tsunamis. The Mediterranean was probably created in one day when the rock of Gibraltar was collapsed and the Mediterranean basin was flooded in one day. Our ancient history is far more fantastic than modern scholars would like to admit. The Sumerian tales of people arriving in ships, not space ships, but ships is probably more accurate than the the interpretation of ancient aliens proposed by that crowd.

It is _at best_ badly damaged by late forgeries. The pentagram is a particularly late addition. Faking old-world inscriptions was a favorite nineteenth-century pastime, with a profitable industry in portable forgeries particularly in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, and Ohio.

This stone is not convincing evidence at all. It could easily be seen, by this video, as evidence of kids just putting scratches in a rock.

If you look at the history detailed in the Book of Mormon, it can shed more light on how the Hebrew/Egyptian languages show up in the Americas.

Israel as a People was mentioned by the Egyptians on stone monuments; as a People and a State by Greek and Roman historians; before, during, and after the time of Jesus; on stone monuments and in their writings. The Eygptian, Babylonian, Persian, and Roman Empires all fought wars with the Hebrews and the lsraeli State centered in Jerusalem for twenty five hundred years. It continues to this day as the Israelis fight to defend their reoccupation of their ancestral homeland against Iraq, lran, Syria, and other Middle Eastern countries aligned against them.
