India got freedom in 1947. But a big portion of india was partitioned to create a separate country for muslims, which is today's Pakistan. From day 1 Pakistan nursed this idea to destroy, devastated India and convert India into a Muslim country. They attacked India in 1948, 1965, 1971, 1999. But they lost all wars miserably. Today Pakistan and it's people are paying a heavy price for their continued enmity towards India. Where as India focused on development and today it is an economic and military power house. In the same sense, the Palestinians could have buried their enmity towards Israel and focused on development and could have avoided today's situation. India also donated millions of dollars to the Palestinian people, right from Yasser Arafat's days. Several times India also tried to convince Arafat to make peace with Israel and accept the 2 nation theory. But he refused this offer everytime. The Palestinians, in the last 75 years are mostly living on humanitarian aid money sent by other countries. But their blind hatred of Israel and radical islamic thinking, has ruined every peace effort. In the 1970s Jordan helped them, but they returned the favor by assassinating a key politician in Jordan. Now USA, UK, Germany etc have taken in around 5 million of these so called Palestinian refugees. But these countries are facing the brunt of the violence created by these Palestinians. No country should provide any refuge to such people.
What's sad is it's all a culture thing I know plenty of people here in the US who are of Palestinian ethnicity and they are very much American now. Thank you for posting this, it was one of the most informative posts I have watched and I actually did watch it in its entirety, I am British and attended a pro Palestinian march earlier this year in London simply because I was appalled and deeply saddened by the constant images of people dying, I attended that march with very little knowledge of the history of the region and no real idea of who Hamas were, I simply wanted the killing to stop and of course I still do and your presentation has given me a much better understanding of this very complex issue, I pray that all the peoples of this region can one day live in peace and mutual respect but for that to happen people need to rid themselves from extremist ideology regardless of where it comes from

I watched this TWICE. Most of the “free Palestine” peeps don’t even have the attention span to watch this. I am an immigrant from Egypt living in USA. I escaped an oppressive abusive Muslim culture. Do you think it is still being taught in a balanced, factual way? Or are kids being indoctrinated with teachers' uninformed opinions? The reason I ask is because I know one one social justice warrior teacher on call (substitute teacher) who couldn't wait to get into a grade 7 classroom to " talk to them about Palestine". So those kids got some very anti Israel dogma taught to them.
This is a pretty pro-Israeli perspective, there are much more balanced overviews that you can find. For example, stating that Arabs all left in 1948 at the behest of Arab leaders is a false narrative that was popular in Israel for a long time. We know now that hundreds of thousands were expelled by the Israeli's.

I met this lovely couple from Egypt who told me that one of the darkest period they experienced was 2011-2026 when Hamas came close to overtaking their country. They were oppressed, freedom was threatened. This is why they ban Palestinians from fleeing into their country.

The Hamas government of Gaza had over 15 years to improve the quality of life for Gazans, but they instead chose to invest their resources in terrorism and then blamed Israel for the poor quality of life. Absolutely insane.

Yes, I watched the video to the end. I had to pause it a few times, for two reasons. Firstly, I needed to think about, and understand the history of this complicated situation. I'm British, and I was sorry to learn that the British were responsible for it a century ago. Secondly, I had to pause because I felt overwhelmed by the inhumanity of war. I have been appalled since 7 October 2023, by the insanity of blaming Israel 🇮🇱 for defending itself against terrorism. No other state in the world would be expected not to respond to such violent aggression, or to make its response 'proportional', whatever that means. Hamas could end this now by returning the hostages. The pro-Palestinians shriek about genocide, blaming the Israelis, but what else is 'from the river to the sea' but a call for the genocide of the Israelis? I'm not Jewish, but I stand with Israel and with Jews everywhere in the world.

I'm Polish and if I was to summarise the Polish history in three words that would be: dying to survive. The leader of Hamas was even called out on tv and he literally said “the people are not Hamas’ responsibility, they are the responsibility of the United Nations.” Much to the shock of the interviewer of how evil he, the leader Hamas and therefore of Gaza, actually was.

This is a fundamental history that should be made available to the younger generation.
India got freedom in 1947. But a big portion of india was partitioned to create a separate country for muslims, which is today's Pakistan. From day 1 Pakistan nursed this idea to destroy, devastated India and convert India into a Muslim country. They attacked India in 1948, 1965, 1971, 1999. But they lost all wars miserably. Today Pakistan and it's people are paying a heavy price for their continued enmity towards India. Where as India focused on development and today it is an economic and military power house.
In the same sense, the Palestinians could have buried their enmity towards Israel and focused on development and could have avoided today's situation.
India also donated millions of dollars to the Palestinian people, right from Yasser Arafat's days. Several times India also tried to convince Arafat to make peace with Israel and accept the 2 nation theory. But he refused this offer everytime. The Palestinians, in the last 75 years are mostly living on humanitarian aid money sent by other countries. But their blind hatred of Israel and radical islamic thinking, has ruined every peace effort.
In the 1970s Jordan helped them, but they returned the favor by assassinating a key politician in Jordan. Now USA, UK, Germany etc have taken in around 5 million of these so called Palestinian refugees. But these countries are facing the brunt of the violence created by these Palestinians.
No country should provide any refuge to such people.
What's sad is it's all a culture thing I know plenty of people here in the US who are of Palestinian ethnicity and they are very much American now. It only takes one generation to change thousands of years of oppression how can we expect the people in Gaza to act like us when the only education they receive is a manipulation of Islam.
What if we just ignore the area it's not like anything of real economic value is in the region it's literally almost uninhabitable.

My mom and dad became great friends with three Egyptian men who came over and started a restaurant here, once it dissolved one of them wanted to go to college, and my parents helped him because he was such a great upstanding guy, all of the more, he is now a great doctor in USA . Our family can call on him anytime, it’s really nice, but we love love love hearing his story and also seeing how his wife takes such good care of him, and she keeps the customs.!

The reason I ask is because I know one one social justice warrior teacher on call (substitute teacher) who couldn't wait to get into a grade 7 classroom to " talk to them about Palestine". This is a pretty pro-Israeli perspective, there are much more balanced overviews that you can find. For example, stating that Arabs all left in 1948 at the behest of Arab leaders is a false narrative that was popular in Israel for a long time. We know now that hundreds of thousands were expelled by the Israeli's.

Yes, I watched the video to the end. I had to pause it a few times, for two reasons. Firstly, I needed to think about, and understand the history of this complicated situation. I'm British, and I was sorry to learn that the British were responsible for it a century ago. Secondly, I had to pause because I felt overwhelmed by the inhumanity of war. I have been appalled since 7 October 2023, by the insanity of blaming Israel 🇮🇱 for defending itself against terrorism. No other state in the world would be expected not to respond to such violent aggression, or to make its response 'proportional', whatever that means. Hamas could end this now by returning the hostages. The pro-Palestinians shriek about genocide, blaming the Israelis, but what else is 'from the river to the sea' but a call for the genocide of the Israelis? I'm not Jewish, but I stand with Israel and with Jews everywhere in the world.
The British are also responsible for creating india and Pakistan who are at war perpetually; hongkong which is a flash point between China and west.

I'm Polish and if I was to summarise the Polish history in three words that would be: dying to survive. Even 80 years after the last war we had on our soil, we are painfully aware of the price which our nation had to pay for the right to exist in our not so friendly neighborhood. And if we were starting to forget, the war in Ukraine has been a scary reminder.
