I used to go spelunking, back when took risks with a grain of salt. Down the 20-30 ft long wormholes that you had to put your arms over your head to get through.
30 years later, I wake up in cold sweats thinking about what we did and if we got stuck. Not being able to go back to sleep.
The easiest way to think about it is eventually you'd lose enough wieght to get through, one way or another.
On my first excursion, one of the guys asked if I was claustrophobic "are you sure? Cause you dont wanna get down there and freak out". I told him I was cool. A few hundred feet in, he wasnt sure hed get hack up. Talk about freakin out. This guy wigged out bigtime. Another guy told him to relax. Theres an exit not too far from there. Lol

The kid is like, "dude, that's getting boring. Let's go on an adventure! Those guys are way cooler!"
I'd much rather drink a beer and bbq at the mouth of a cave than at damn pub haha I never been to either place though.....cave or a bar haha so yea I'm pretty boring haha I cut grass.

These might be under water caves or ancient water reserves worth exploring. The Smithsonian magazine wrote articles detailed in the journal Scientific Reports, the study’s authors found that the Maya built the Corriental reservoir filtration system as early as 2,185 years ago, not long after settlement of Tikal began around 300 B.C. So who's to know what you walked into? Keep exploring.

Like in that one part where there are these black lines in the rock that even stick out from the grayish rock. And if you see sparkly rock, does that mean there's crystals and what does that mean. I guess I could google it. Wow, and there was lots and lots of crystals back in there.
But why were they so much there and not in other places? Why dynamite? And isn't they dangerous to handle that stuff? Why were there stuff like that left there?

What an adventure! I would be nervous about spending much time in a cave that began with a water entry. I hope you guys check the weather real close before risking getting caught flooded in an underground labyrinth.

Since you discovered this old emergency supply Box it would be cool to revisit this place and put a New one in . Since the cave is cold all year some MRE in a sealed stainless steel container would be perfect

You could also go to Alaska someday. There ice/glacier caves, you could do some ice cave kayaking and best of all El Capitan Cave is there. With 598 ft it has the deepest vertical shaft of the U.S.!
