Once you get the limo sorted out - it would be a magnificent bridal limo type vehicle! It’s amazing! Happy to hear that you will have an ice cream shop in next door! How nice to see Austin! His channel is pretty cool too. He seemed so shy at first but I have been watching his saloon rebuild project and it’s great. Wow- what beautiful stained glass work he does.
Christine, I’m in total agreement about the limo. My first thought was using the limo as a bridal event limousine. With the exterior and interior bright and shining, it would make very special and memorable transportation. I could also see film production companies wanting to lease it for period films.
I thought a fabulous prom limo, but wedding is even a better side gig. Can’t you see a bride in a big poofy crinolined skirt stepping out to go into the church, or she and her new husband coming out of the church and heading to the reception. Whether you keep it or sell it, it’s exciting to see a new project. Keeps us all moving forward in thoughts. It would be wonderful to know who was driven in it. Was it royalty, was it an ambassador from a far off country, whoever it was needed to be driven in an incredible car. Alex I’m so happy you took this car on.
Yes I agree it’s very similar to the wedding car I had 38 years ago. I don’t remember any jump seats but the lines were similar. How wonderful. Well done Alex. We all benefit from the cool things coming into our lives to enjoy and boost the happy hormones. Good for our mental health. VW Vans are equally good!
Your new tenants are going to love the addition! And the ice cream shop opening at the start of summer will bring tons of new customers to the original store.
What a lovely gift, Austin! Beautiful stained glass! And that car is cool! (That is exactly my parent's stereo system that they are still using. Great sound! )
I totally understand your love for old cars, and this ones a beaut! I’m so envious of your amazing car finds. I’m so glad you see the beauty in them and preserve them. They’re works of art from days gone by when everything produced was carefully and artistically crafted...
I knew it as soon as I saw the thumb nail, I had a stretched Daimler like this for my wedding car in 2001 in Leicester, England. This brought back some wonderful memories. Thank you Alexander. X
I love old classics. Once it’s all fixed up you could rent it out for weddings as it has the flag mast on the front already for the ribbon. I’m so glad you found a renter, Ice Cream Parlour was a great idea to have 🥂
Loved seeing Austin, he's such a nice guy. I subscribe to his channel. He's really gotten a lot more comfortable in front of the camera since we first met him on the Potter House restoration. He does a lot of interesting things on his channel, everyone should check it out. He seems very genuine.
You should commission Austin for some stained glass for your new home! Nice work! My dad hand painted every single toy he ever owned, apparently. Everything that was left to me was crappily customized. 😂
He really is isn't he? It's been great to watch him become so much more comfortable on camera and see all of the different interests and talents he has. I find his voice and the cadence of his speech to be very soothing and a destresser.
Congrats on leasing the new side of the building so quickly. Wait until the kids living in the neighborhood find out there is going to be an ice cream parlor there. 😍
Alex you're a wonderful person, love that you keep in touch with all your collaborators and cohorts and keep us up to date too, I love the stained glass Austin!!
The stained glass piece is beautiful! Austin is so very talented! Enjoyed seeing the new project car and other goodies! Best Wishes in everything you do!
Alex, you shouldn’t be surprised at peoples generosity, you and your family are extremely generous yourselves, and you know the saying, birds of a feather flock together!
Somehow I had missed this video and your acknowledgement of Austin’s gift. He is wonderfully talented and I know that you appreciate his workmanship and generosity! 👏👏👏♥️
The Daimler looks much better in black. Another great find and project. Fascinating to watch you move all the stock and some of the shelves from the icecream parlour to the original part of the store. Perhaps a challenge that only Alex would take on ??? If any one can do it it's you Alex!
Love limousine 💕. Happy you were able to lease to an ice cream entrepreneur too.beautiful stained glass. Austin sure has that Canadian accent- very charming.
@@LessThanThree76 Yes he was involved in the renovation of the Potters House and can play rock piano as skillfully as he is a master carpenter and now a stained glass window expert( there must be name for them..lol)
The JB on the plate indicates the car was registered in the county of Berkshire, county town Reading, 20 to 30 miles west of London, still looking for more info. Windsor Castle and the classy school Eton are right next door to Reading. Our aging Queen is now living and working at Windsor Castle, the Cambridge boys will be going to Eton.
Think you've filled your new garage.😀 Hope all the restorations go well and don't create the frustrations the Rolls gave you. Some great finds today. Very complete train set. Good to see Austin. Ice cream parlor sounds cool. Hope the proprietor has an aesthetic compatible with yours.
Window is perfect. What a wonderful gift from Austin. I make windows myself and other miscellaneous stained glass pieces. I can appreciate the work that goes into these. I believe he used a lot of H lead so only had to solder joints. Cool. He’s such a nice young man. I watch his TH-cam channel.
You just brought back childhood memories for me!! My brother collected Sgt. Rock comics and my late husband played Panzer Blitz with his brothers for many years!!
Terrific, varied episode. Good news on finding the right tenant for the new addition. I suppose you'll end up changing the store signage for the ice cream vendor. Perfect stain glass fit for the door transom. Auto projects are piling up. You're going to need a carport storage building soon, to keep your property tidy ...another potential project. Slow down son, or risk early burn-out! I really enjoy your Utube channel and your life progress. Well done Alexander, Melissa, Stephan, Jason, and Abigail. Bless you all. 🥰❤
Ice Cream Parlor? YEA!!!! The way it was originally imaged. Can't wait to see it! Austin did an amazing job on the stained glass too. Very talented young lad & the car is cool as well. Nice.
Again I must wish in my wildest dreams that you would take a car like that and get Vice Grip Garage channel to come up and do a revive on that vehicle. That would be an awesome collab. Dreaming...
Wow the limo is stunning! The stained glass window was an amazing gift. Love the trains and old magazines. A wonderful look at some lovely treasures. Thank you. Peace and love to all from the uk 🇬🇧 x
That is such a cool car, so beautiful!!! Austin is such a unique character, I like to watch his TH-cam channel and just see what will happen. Same with Josh actually, though a very different person. Brilliant.
@Alexander It would be way cool if you put the coffee/Tea/food items in the kitchen area in the old side of the store. Hey it's Austin! Hi Austin good to see ya and the Stained Glass is PERFECT! BTW Alexander, that turn table and Amp is the first thing my husband and I bought in 1973 as a newlywed couple. It was worth every penny close to $500 in the day brand stinkin new
A nice car a Daimler DE27, makes a great wedding car. Think I would be doing the sacrilegious thing and repowering it, they were not very economical to say the least. The very best you can expect is 12 MPG.
Superb video Brother Alexander. You had some wonderful variety of things and adventures You want on. Absolutely love the stained glass. It compliments the door. Cooled-Out comic books. The train stuff is Neat'O. That car can sure stand it's own!! Thanks always for sharing 😀👍❤🇨🇦🌎🎉🎉🎉🎉👏👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉🎉💯💯💯💯💯
Very cool finds! I'm looking forward to seeing the limo get the tlc it deserves. I remember all 4 of those Mad magazines! My older brother had them. As we got older our middle brother would also buy a copy, then I would also buy a copy as I got older. So for a while our house would have 3 copies of each one. Lol.
Fun to see Austin, it's been a while I hardly recognize him - but that voice was exactly as remembered. I agree - that car has an awesome look and it will be fun to see you restore it.
Luckily a lot of parts can be printed these days so if you can’t get some odd bits and pieces, look for the guy on TH-cam who prints his own car parts ❤️🇨🇦
Love the Limo. I like this above all the vehicles that I've seen you run through these last few years since I've been watching. I know this will go the way off all the others. In one day and back out when refurb is complete. Wish we were closer. Would love to see this especially sitting in the new garage yet to be completed. Good luck with this one. Can't wait to see it restored to it's former glory.

Nice to hear you rented out the other side for an ice cream parlour. That is a very cool car and would look awesome when it is done. Now I wonder if anyone is taking bets that Alex will have that new garage filled before they move into the new house LOL. I have been to some train shows as a vendor and and some of the setups are awesome and there is trains of brands at these shows including American Flyer and some very old and large controllers.
Very interesting limo. Beautiful stained glass gift from Austin. Nice toy haul. Congratulations on leasing the new store addition. Lots of exciting things going on. I told my son when he saw your new garage that you would have it filled with cars before you moved in..lol
Wow! The stained glass transom is stunning - the wild rose is so appropriate! Great work, Austin!

Would it be possible to move the double doors in the vestibule, so as to incorporate its space into the original store?
I’ve never really had a true bucket list per day, but I think visiting your store might be at the top of said list.

That wooden dashboard is killer. Love the stereo, love the train. Custom paint is no problem for a buyer that wants to custom paint it again.
