Dont use any sights at all for close quarter combat. Scroll your Mousewheel without aiming to change the stance of your weapon, make it aim straight ahead. Turn on a laser and boom, youve now got hipfire as precise as aiming with a laser. No scope needed. Otherwise, if youre a Marksman, use the Vudu 1x-6x Scope. Its basically a Reflex and a sniper scope in one.
Awesome review. Helped me not impulse buy during a sale. I loved the old Rainbow Six games and I know its the same devs, but they really need to make a game around this paid tech demo at this point, 6 years after release, for me to be interested in funding it. Ready or Not is solid for anyone choosing between the two.
I love the game but man I'm getting burned out from the new players who treat it like cod and get mad when they die. They don't listen or some will act like they can solo the match without knowing what the objective is.
@bullet95781 I'm a solo player without a headset, so I haven't tried matchmaking, but I could imagine, seems like a friends only type of game I'm waiting for october for the campaign to come out (I think it's october) then I'll fully switch from Ready or Not to Fallujah, that game mode is impossible solo
@SuperGamerdude77 the game has so much potential for sure. I can't wait for the campaign and I can't wait for ai to be implicated so I can run missions offline. This is the type of game I want to no life, but the community is lacking. I hope more people pick it up and keep the servers alive.
Good video. The thing with ground branch is that it's in pre alpha game, however, for it being a pre alpha game I think it's one of the best pre alpha's ever. The amount of content is not big but for the a pre alpha it is a lot. 100% would by again.
Great point, I think if my biggest problem with a game thats in pre-alpha is the lack of content then it is definitely the best pre-alpha or steam early access game we’ve had in awhile.
@@fantom1012 if you want more of an open ready or not experience instead of cqc then it’s good for that. I’d say RoN feels slightly more finessed but both a great and comparable games.
@@fantom1012I’m a lil Late but I have both. Ready or not is cool and a great game but it comes to preference. Do you like police or swat vs. hella customization and a high tech pmc
i know there's probably gonna be a thousand comments saying the same but i heard prone would be added in 1034 also if they're close enough 5-10 meters they will see you but at like 20 meters they could be looking at you and not see you, hiding in plain sight. that's why i always cut the lights if possible. (bro your video is amazing you need more views)
I bought the game a while ago and uninstalled it as it didn't offer anything different from the other games in its genre, it was also cheap at the time. I have re-installed it since and I am just finding my way around the new features after its had several updates.
Im a fan of the old school rainbow six games and arma since operation flashpoint. This game sucked to me when u compare it the other games i played over the years. I find new games have better graphics but the gameplay sucks. Maybe ive gamed so much over 25 years that i am im picky as hell. But i returned this game after an hour. When time to game is limited you don't want to pay for and play blah games.
It is a game I had enjoyed on the weekends but ignored through the week. I aint got time like you said to find my own enjoyment in it. The other games you mentioned are all great and very replayable
6:10 my only gripes with ready or not... is that it's ready or not. I'm personally not a fan of police sim (I just want to shoot people and police are lame), also the movement is REALLY slow which I'm not too fond of, and enemies in ready or not feel pretty bullet spongy for my taste. But Ground Branch, unless it gets some major changes will probably be dogshit. Currently ready or not is leagues ahead of ground branch visually, Ready or not looks so clean and the atmosphere is amazing, while ground branch looks pretty messes and the sun is way to bright at times and the textures just look awful. On maps like creek in ground branch (which I love the theme) the tree meshes and textures just look awful, they look so pixilated and messy that it makes it hard to see the enemies. Animations wise ready or not is also much better, with the animations for npcs and players actually looking realistic and believable while in ground branch the just look goofy (especially the ai). And while on paper the weapon collision system sounds cool, in practice just like in every other game that has it your guns just feel clunky and get shoved to the other side of your screen because it slightly touches a rock, it makes cover hard to use and cqb sometimes just looks silly. The map design for ground branch is also very bad. Ground branch has a good amount of maps, but the quality is not there. A lot of the maps feel just too open, with not much happening. Maps like 747 are just way too open and flat, and the areas with buildings don't feel well constructed or well-thought-out and instead feel like a bunch of free assets slapped together. Then there are some maps like creek, that I like the idea of but in execution really don't work with the visuals of the game and it feels like Vietnam getting shot through tree lines by enemies I can't see. And maps like the large boat are just awful. Everything about the tanker map is just ehh, once again I really like the idea of it and the vibe, but the map has so many issues. The environment just feels bland on the tanker, and you only have access to the top of the ship and the command tower thing that is mostly copy and paste floors (which don't matter because the ai is so bad they all funnel down the stairs so you never have to actually explore those areas. Ground branch has maybe 2-3 playable maps while every map in ready or not has a cool environment, is detailed, and feel different. The ai in ground branch is also horrible. If you have played ground branch for more than 20 mins I think you know what I'm talking about.
It's focus seems tactical complex pvp. No story needed. I love it
Playing with friends (pve or pvp) is where this game really shines.
Damn they never make fun games for socially anxious people anymore we need better ai
right !@@Kittingiittung
All games are like that

very proffesional for ~350 subs. I suppose that is the literal defenition of underrated
In these games you just have to be able to lie down.
Tigers!
Is the basis of a soldier.
Hopefully they still do that.

I have to agree. It just seems like Ground Branch is missing something that keeps you from playing for an extended period of time.
Great review and authentic honesty!
6 Days In Fallujah just came out, super realistic, the fear factor is very real in it, game is terrifyingly real
Gonna have to check it out at some point!

WHAT WE NEED?
AI TEAMMATES!!!
You have great content!
craaaaazy video bro :)
good review, cheers mate
Good video, mate. Got BF2 vibes. SP is just for training. MP offers the action. Looks interesting.
Buy it it’s sooo fun
Agreed, it has its fun moments.
@Salvag3 what do you think is better ready or not or ground branch ?
I have ready or not and I'm thinking about buying ground branch is it worth it?

Slide the sight further back on the top rail in setup.

1:59 dont know how anyone could take flashbang on the belt "behind" his back :D
Long arms are needed in Ground Branch
Just bought the game ive been playing ready or not alot so im guessing ill like it
Also you definattly deserve alot more views man keep making videos your good at it.
Can one play single player on this?..offline i mean...
@@motionoftheocean7524 yes you can you can play solo or with other players. The pvp is also really good in my opinion aswell
Do you need internet to play lone wolf for someone who has a legion go or steam deck ?
What is the song in the end? Yo La Tengo?

No story mode, or team Deathmatch??
I think theres a 4v4 pvp mode
i decided not to buy it the second you said there is no prone ..what the hell
Just bought the game today. Still in early access but they did add prone to the game.
Lone Wolf looks boring, is there a coop terrorist hunt and if so are there enough players to get a decent game going?
