Honestly, I'm really impressed that across all three states, I think this is the only person who has died of the flooding. People are doing a good job at helping, informing, and staying alert. 1 is 1 too many, but I'm still impressed.
This is just the beginning. Much more to come in the days, months and years ahead for all of us, no matter where you live.

Yeah weirdly even on a hill it can be dangerous. Heavy rain can create (mud) slides. In Switzerland recently had a big rock slide. Absolutely horrible. I still hope that you are staying save! 🙏
That's over here in South Dakota have it just as bad as Minnesota and Iowa the tri-states are horrible

Except the Rapidan dam is on the BE river....it flows NORTH.. if it goes MANKATO will get hit...and the the MN river joins in there..lots of fun....the storm of 93 I lived in Kato....the MN river was going crazy...Sibley park was under 💦...so this is not good 5 them

At the same time they loosened the ropes that tied the steering-oars; then hoisting the foresail to the wind, they made for the beach. 41 But striking a reef, they ran the ship aground; the bow stuck and remained immovable, but the stern was being broken up by the force of the waves. 42 The soldiers’ plan was to kill the prisoners, so that none might swim away and escape; 43 but the centurion, wishing to save Paul, kept them from carrying out their plan. He ordered those who could swim to jump overboard first and make for the land, 44 and the rest to follow, some on planks and others on pieces of the ship. And so it was that all were brought safely to land.
