Surprised the reporter wasn't in a little boat. lol
Or hanging on to a street sign waving her arms around as people walk by staring.
This is Dingy Dan reporting to you from the latest example of… Dangers Undammed!
His name is corn bro
Fok aboutta boat 😂😂😊😊
Or standing in alleged 6ft flood water up to his neck while wearing waders sitting on his knees in shallows.
lol to chicken sh*t . its way over their ankles.
Not so long ago, there wasn't enough water to move barge cargo
yep, they were nonstop complaining about no water
@@jazziez6467 and now the whole Ohio River valley has got hit with storms everyday for two weeks. It's storming as I'm typing this.
Last week I saw a report that the Mississippi was drying up.......??????
All media does is lie
Well the water levels depends on snow and rain levels we get. Up to the last 2 years we have not had much snow or much rain. Two winters ago we got record snow level and not a lot of rain in the summer. This last winter we got maybe 4 in of snow all winter and all this rain. My worry is when we have record snow and then all this rain. Fortunally I do not live by any river or lakes.
It was low a few years ago. But now we're seeing record amounts of rain in lie 20 states east of the Mississippi
It's the Mississippi, it's what it does
Was it just 10 months ago that it was running so low shipping was nearly halted??
@@Mrbfgray And now it is there is plenty of water
This is a great reminder for the rich people, NEVER build in flood plains!
They don't care. They don't pay for most of their rebuilds. WE DO!
But they build mansions on the ocean all while they preach global warming and flooding. Martha’s Vineyard comes to mind and ex presidents
It's important to remember that Lilydale was evacuated years ago specifically because it flooded often. Bohemian Flats in Minneapolis was another neighborhood that was cleared because of frequent flooding. The upper Mississippi is a powerful stream. When Harriet Island goes under in St. Paul, it's a flood.
When you say the water rose 6 1/2 feet most people will think vertically, not mostly horizontally…………
You're right. It's what I'd thought. Til now. Lol ty
Ocean tides would FREAK him out then! 😂
Horizontally is utterly meaningless.
my classmate us 5ft and back in my old school we went to a boat and we notice that their was a flood here in 2001
The ebb & flow of nature.
Be safe y'all!

@@SigFigNewton Sig, Al Gore needs more money. Better hurry. The Green hoax
First it was drying up, big panic, now it’s going to flood North America. We are so focused on today, no foresight.
You said a mouthful!
Yup, weather extremes are more common all right
@@SigFigNewtonthey are more common and more intense.
Yes I thought for sure 2 weeks ago there was a report it was drying up....
Cannot predict mother nature
Corrin Hoggard? Oh my. That is an unfortunate name.
Hey stop hoggin the corn
He has two sisters. Imma and Urra!
LOL!!!
The water is really high in the Minneasota river by HYW 77 (Around Eagan) which is a few miles before it join the Mississippi river. All the nature trail in the area are about 4 feet under water.
Thank God we got basically no snow last winter because if we had the same record snow fall as we did in 2023 and then all this rain we have had this spring and summer the whole state would be swimming.
Wonder how it looks in St. Louis, down here in Memphis it needs the water it’s been low
I know this reporter's name is Corin Hoggard, but when the host introduced him it sounds like Corn Hogger...
I also noticed this! 😂
I was there in early June for graduation took a walk along the south bank of the Mississippi downtown St. Paul. The water was already high. Chicago mix "The Candy Store!"
Hey Google, what's my elevation
Right?!
Opposite of floodplain isn’t desert. It’s hill.
Remember that next year when you all say the world is coming to an end when the water 💦 decreases, like it does every year.
Justa few months ago, they were afraid of the Mississippi going dry….
Whasupwidat?
Happens regularly over the years
Corn Hogger
Momma seen them ears at birth and immediately thought of where she 'caught' Pa's seed ... Corn Hogger indeed
😂it says translate to English 😂
I heard corn and came straight to the comments lol
Quit hoggin the corn
I thought I got bugged in high school with my german name, but "Corn Hogger" would be really bad in HS
Maybe if you didn't put man-made objects RIGHT ON THE RIVER BANK you wouldn't have flooding problems.
It's called a flood plain.
I've seen some video's of late, saying the Mississippi river is dying. I guess they haven't looked up stream.
Nonsense
The reports may have been premature
Walz can fly over and give his blessing and all the water will be gone. Put Jesse Ventura back as governor and do everybody a favor.
Why are they more focused on the environment?
I feel like it was just a few months ago that the Mississippi was drying up
What? Flooding along the Mississippi River flood plain?? Say it ain't so! It never floods on the Mississippi River flood plain!
I thought the DROUGHT would never END 🤷♂️ that was YOUR report a year ago
More unstable and more worse-trust me,I’m a scientist ✌️
Watch how fast all this water dries up and we are back to drought by summers end.
@@scottanderson3751 sure you are
Minnesota had a drought last year?
Or op just yappin?
@@MadGunnythe first dry days at 90 degrees and Ian Leonard will be saying the sky is falling
What is that reporter's name?

A year ago, you could walk across it.
Corin Hoggart? LOL
How does this effect transportation on that water are they going to have more issue with bridges and barge from faster moving water and lower head clearance
Dunno. In 2022, parts of Europe and China had river shipping difficulties due to drought
I work on a barge crew in st Paul, We were told yesterday we may not be moving any barges until July 30th if the water subsides
Oh my !!!
This is one month ago
And it all flows down south so states get ready you have a heads up 2:18
the low water level on the miss i guess is over, thats good news
Holy 💩 😮
where i live, last year was a carbon copy of 1997, this year is a carbon copy of 1998 so far, and im pretty sure i was in st paul one of those years and this was happening then Its all just cycles.
Cute take
ice fishings going to be good this year yeet yeet

I hope so. Last year ice fishing only lasted about a month.

FYI, the water is coming from 'upstream', which means look elsewhere for the source.

Just tell the elites to knock it off with their weather games.

Is this affecting the Mall of America in Bloomington? Planning to visit...
Yup! The whole town is built off of the side of the Minnesota and Mississippi River. Both are flooding. The MN flows North in to the Mississippi. So Blue earth river that’s flowing into the MN is going back up into the Mississippi.
No way ,too far from the river
Yeah no. There's road work near he mall bridge is closed off to 2 lanes but absolutely in affected by floods. I work 10 minutes from the MOA

A dam broke on a side river. Why didnt they mention it?
Because it hasn’t broke yet. It’s jammed with debris and the water is flowing around it to the west.
Y’all actually believe in dams?
Corn Hoggard? 🌽 Hoggard! "How high's the water, Momma?" Johnny Cash? Merle Haggard? Corn's on it, Momma!! 😂
U surprised? Uncle Amos said...this is what 100 plus years old US infrastructure looks like... get it?
When will Americans understand flood plains. Never so far.
Don’t build near a river. Problem solved.
Pretty much every major inland city is on a river. Kinda hard not to! People have been congregating near rivers since the beginning of civilization
The solution is simple. Instead of irrigating crop land, we should starve.

Great Plains farmers and ranchers need water badly! As pipelines for oil and natural gas travel hundreds of miles under- ground, so could pipelines in flooded areas travel towards the Plains Farmers and ranchers! Dams are at full capacity which should have pipelines go to dryer areas, like Great Plains where water is scarce! All flooded areas of the US should have pipelines redirecting water to dryer regions to help prevent water lose!
call greta and john kerry maybe they can fly in and fill some sand bags
Are you imagining that they never physically help people?
Are you there and help or do you want to show us your stupidity?
See if you can just pump some of it into the fields and just keep pumping it west away from river inland.
Farmers fields are already flooded going to hurt them financially.
They can’t legally just pump it onto other’s people’s private property and kill their livelihood.
