It's because the car is German.
Everywhere else in the world there is a speed limit of around 75 mph. In Germany instead there is no geneal speed limit and therefore cars are designed to withstand crashes at much higher speeds.

The engine is in the back, and never took a direct hit. It would probably run pretty well unless the cooling system took damage.

Why do people keep saying that about his insurance. At this point he doesn't have insurance. when your premiums get that high and you have enough money you're better off just going uninsured and showing that you have financial ability to cover whatever the state's amount is. You do know you don't have to have insurance right? Most people just can't prove that they have the $500,000 or whatever it is on hand to satisfy the requirement for not having insurance.

Man. So I’m dealing with a DUI right now. No accident, I was minimally intoxicated( I drink so rarely, I honestly will get a cab before driving) but was speeding because I like to go fast lol. Dangers and stupid I know, but anyways I have court for that soon and was stressing about it. After seeing this it makes me realize I could have it way worse right now. Glad I found this. Also, in the past I have dealt with drug addiction. I know how crazy and reckless a person can become when they’re deep in addiction. I really feel for this guy. If he’s that deep into drugs(who knows for sure), then it’s probably going to be years before he heals properly and can think back on this situation and actually realize “ I could have died”. I really hope he gets better, I wouldn’t wish addiction on anyone. It’s a living hell, it’s just pure suffering non stop all the time EVERY SINGLE DAY. I really hope he gets better man. Damn I feel sorry for this guy.
I pray God presents himself to this Benjamin guy, and that Benjamin makes the decision to trust In him and allow himself to heal.
