Its because the low light of the trail , just try gopro on that trail and you”ll find it more worst. SMH, cmon please learn about it before submit a comment

The footage in this vid is poor and I havent used a 360 cam before, but is it because its processed and exported on the phone then processed again for the final vid? If thats the case its editing mistake. The RAW original file of the clip plus the rest of the edit all need to be done together on PC with 360 compatible software, Im sure premier has plugs. Its the same with Gopro GPS clips, I can only put the overlay on the phone, then transfer from phone to PC, then use the said already compressed files to make final edit to compress again losing tons of quality.
@@FlyingMeta I believe that’s part of it. The downside, is that editing it the 360 file on your computer to be where you want the point of view takes sooooo much longer. With insta360 you can open your file on your phone, click record, and then turn your phone as the clip is recording your phone movements to control the point of view. It’s awesome! But like you said it then compresses, then compresses again on the computer file. ALSO, this shoots in 5.7k... in 360. So the output you’re getting on a 16:9 shot is more like a standard HD 1080 video. The wind noise is also really brutal with this camera.
It’s a great camera for broll and accessory shots but not as a primary shooting camera. At least for mountain biking and long running action shots. If they were short clips you’re getting, then this is great because editing in highest quality on the computer is much easier than trying to follow the point of view down constantly changing directions on the trail and looking around, etc
Yeah this Was the Main criticism the last time he made a 360 Video, the video quality isn't up to todays Standards and the sound is terrible. I like the idea but for me as a viewer the fact that it is a 360 cam does not outweigh aforementioned downsides. This does not improve the content for me.
Agreed. Not sure what camera he uses usually (probably a Hero 5), but the stabilisation, audio and picture quality are all awful. A Hero 8/9 like Sam Pilgrim uses would be the best option.

The 360 adds a really cool element to the video. I think combined with the GoPro footage (especially gimbal), rather than solely 360cam, it will make for a nice mix of footage 👍

@Timothy Rueb it looks really bad on TH-cam but it looks really good on instagram. I think TH-cam’s video quality is just automatically like a low res.

it's due to the compression when they export it, the same thing happens to gopro.
