Yes. :)

    • @morbiumoxx

@The Stalker totoo naman pero sinasabi ko lang po that my grandma told me this not saying it's the real thing why we use it. so thanks anyways.

Hey Joe Show was composed of these guys from the US who were Missionary Elders of Latter Day Saints (Mormon) who stayed awhile in Cebu, I think, thats why they speak Bisaya which is the dialect in the Visayas region. And also adapted Filipino culture. They even recorded a song in Bisaya called "My Morena Girl", really nice song and all of them sing very well. Their last video i watched was showing that they have graduated from universities and now pursuing individual careers. Which is why theres not a lot of new vids from them anymore.

almost all Filipino boys are circumcised around the age of ten. that's a Filipino tradition. took my boys from the uk to the phils 2 years ago to have it done and they were fine with it. i think it will be hard in the future as more and more fil-brit kids are more aware of their rights and might not want to get involved with it. having it done has a lot of advantages obviously but i cannot say it here haha

They even did a song called My Morena Girl . Wish they were still around. What made them highly interesting is they all spoke Visaya fluently and their skits were mainly in Visaya.

Becoming A Man part, is circumcison... We male are being 'tuli' (circumcised) and then wear a 'palda' (skirt) or loose shorts to avoid our *toot* to be touched by any fabric.
Fun Fact: We don't use underwear during these times.

Things that American's don't know ( about the Philippines )
    1) People from the Philippines is not called 'Filipinos' because we are called 'Pilipino' or 'Pinoy' ( for boy) 'Pinay' (for girl) .
    2) We use 'tabo' when we clean the dirt that comes out of our butts :)
    3) We commonly use words like 'HOY' (Hoy means like HEY! but not like the greeting one but like......like your reaction when you get robbed lol) 'Sana all' (Sana all means hope all! We use it when we wished that everyone has that thing) ( We also use it when we wished we also had one or like we wished to experience one)
    4) We call some Pinoy or Pinays 'buraot' whenever they don't give you what you asked or wished for like
Me: Can I have 1 sheet of paper? Pleaseeee
    You: No :P
    Me: Buraot! Your so buraot!
    Thank you :)

Whoa! They’re really good at speaking Cebuano! Are they missionaries or something? Btw, “Hey, Joe” stemmed from WWII when the Americans helped defeat the Japanese. Filipinos couldn’t tell the GIs apart nor could they remember their names so as not to be rude, they called any American GIs (or any white guy for that matter), Joe, which stuck to this day, hence, “Hey, Joe” was born.
