Fran don’t be disappointed that you did the block wrong. I had to redo all my small HST block since the one focus one was placed wrong. I marked my pattern with arrows on which way to place that one HST.

Thank you for this fun video. I try not to g time myself however I try to set a time each day to quilt and stuck to it as close as possible. The end goal of finishing a quilt is set from the first stitch. Great job to you both 🎉
Sew off: Betty Bernina vs. Helga Viking. Betty 1 and Helga 2. This was so much fun. Very nervous doing it on camera I am sure. We need Donna for the next challenger. This could be a show to go up against WWE wrestling. LOL
I’m a fast sewer and even I don’t think I could do a block like that in five minutes. This was fun to watch. I think a more realistic time for the next one should be seven minutes or maybe ten. 😊😂
You really need to make it more like 10 minutes. I'm always the slowest at quilt retreats and classes. Take your time. Just watched to the end - looks like 12 or more minutes. Well done Hannah! I was nervous Hannah would get burned by the large iron in a small space. But she didn't! Yay!
Love the winter blast fabric easier if iron is to your side then don't have to be leaning bad for back n I always have Christian country music on talking slows you way down but still nice to talk quilt patterns while sewing if not a challenge
Very cute, fun, and entertaining video! Love that you named your sewing machines and shared that with all of us. Yes, I named mine, too ... I have the Little Brother (a very basic Brother model), Blue Willow (the Featherweight), and Contessa (the BabyLock Solaris -- she gets the fancy dancy title as she rules my sewing room). Also thanks for showing real life responses when we do the "oopsies" while sewing. Both of you mentioned that your cats are usually around while you sew and your background audio. I will add that I sew with Quilting/Sewing TH-cams playing and my Boston Terrier snoring in the background. LOL Love both of those patterns. I haven't tried them yet ... but I will!

I like pressing my seams open because I find it easier and mor accurate to match up seams when they are flat.
