It so nice to hear you talking about how long all of this took especially because I always need to remind myself that a good sculpting takes time. It can become really frustrating if you are always think about being to slow but also want to have a good looking result. Oh and amazing work!
Insane... Thank you so much for this breakdown, I'm working on a dragonised Abronia lizard, your techniques will be great to try out on the back scales !
Yes. You’d definitely do this for production if it’s a higher budget and if they want to invest the time to make it look good. I’d fact, I just used this same process for creating creature for a movie coming out next year.
hi sir, How you make damStandard work the way you make it work😭i cant i always had issues which like to much bevel or too much not bevel etc. also i wanna know when you sculpt these details you work on dynameshed mesh or retopoed one
heya, when you are working on this level of detail you won't want to use dynamesh, as it would constantly reduce and remesh your details. This would be on a model you'd want to transpose the details of or an already retopo'd one.
Dude I love how you broke this down! You should definitely do more TH-cam.
I absolutely will. Im in the process of making many more youtube videos.
I love those scales. You can clearly see the hard work! Love it.
Thanks! yeah, uhg! so much work! haha
Stunning and very informative!!!! Thank you so much!!
Wish I knew about this brush before I finished my croco creature. Great techniques as well, thanks for the breakdown Kurtis!
Thank you so much, I'm jst about sculpting a creature with scales!! Perfectly in time ❤❤

Absolutely. I feel a lot of us take shortcuts and shy away from hard work. But when we do that hard work, its always so much more rewarding.
Cool stuff man, thanks for creating and posting this!

Do you have a video where you cover your Mari texturing process you mentioned? I'd be interested in what that process looks like too.
He has a Gnomon course thst goes over the Mari process.
You have made a great trip, Dawe you are a great traveler 😄
Awesome work, i was wondering if you used a graphics tablet or just a mouse?
A Wacom tablet :)

just got that in my youtube feed. I really like that result, but would it be something you do actually for production? It seems so time intensive
Yes. You’d definitely do this for production if it’s a higher budget and if they want to invest the time to make it look good. I’d fact, I just used this same process for creating creature for a movie coming out next year.
Thaat's a loot of amazing work! Great work Bro! Thanks for sharing! What was the approximate polycount when doing Pablo's Brushes? Peace Bro!
I’ll usually try to have my high res zbrush model to be 35-45million.
Is there any chance you'll sell this model? Use for studies(sculpting, texturing, etc.)
And I love your brushes btw, they're great!
Thanks so much. I might actually put it on artstation. 🤔
@@kurtisdawecreative5930 That will help a lot. Thanks in advance.
