Reva and Cassie are reunited. The sisters catch each other up on everything and Cassie tells Reva about Noah and Phillip's plan. Marah arrives with Tammy and RJ. Cassie fights to hold back the tears when she sees her children. Reva confides in Cassie that there are signs that her sight is returning and then she admits to having concerns about her relationship with Noah. In San Cristobel, Edmund is shocked to see Richard alive. Richard tells Edmund that he is freeing San Cristobel and that Edmund will be tried in the U.S. for kidnapping Cassie. Edmund pulls out a gun and threatens to kill Richard if he doesn't allow him to see Beth. Richard acknowledges that now Edmund understands what it feels like to be separated from the woman he loves. Edmund escapes from the palace. Richard calls Cassie and tells her what has happened. Richard realizes that Edmund is going to try and see Beth.

I never 'got ' anything San Cristobal and despised the storyline through and through. Never liked Richard, Jeffrey, Edmund, Dax, and the gang. I did come to like Olivia and I felt that she believably assimilated in to Springfield life. Although, looking back at these days you realize that the production was really good. I don't believe we knew how good we had it during these days. You can't help but notice little things about essential soap opera conventions found during these days that have been missing from the Soap Operas of today and GL during the latter years. There were aspects of the Richard/fairytale/"Princess" Cassie storyline that I did like but I pretty much hated everything San Cristobal...I never fully got it.

Allison B and to think about two years later they put Cassie and that pig Edmund together. It is so gross.

@@colleenpell2817 i totally agree. they also had tammy married her cousin. when the show ended they should have had cassie wake up from a dream so richard and tammy would be alive.

​@@colleenpell2817 richard had financial troubles. he wasn't getting money from being an ambassador and didn't want to worry cassie knowing she dealt with money issues before so he got a job selling car.
