  • The Coolest Neighborhood in Hong Kong. In this video we will be exploring the North Point area of Hong Kong, which quickly became one of my favorite neighborhoods in the city! During my time here I stayed at the Hyatt Centric Victoria Harbour one of the most beautiful hotels on the entire island! While we explore North Point I will visit the oldest tea house in the area, as well as some Michelin guide egg waffles! I hope you enjoy this video!

dont know if this series is posted afterwards but if you want to see the quieter side or just want to visit some quieter places that contrasts with the busy city you should try exploring new territories, now that its summer you can also try visiting the wetland park there and see some of the original nature in New Territories before it was transformed being showcased

Good stuff Chris. Nice little walking tour. I've been to HK 9 times, but never ventured to North Point. I always stayed in Kowloon. NP does look lively. And Bubble waffles are pretty awesome. There are a lot of different flavors. I've had chocolate, vanilla along with the one you had. And you are absolutely right about the hotel situation. If you're going to stay in a city like HK, you need to spend the money and enjoy yourself. Don't go cheap. I stayed at a pretty run down Holiday Inn in Kowloon, which had dirty carpets and plumbing issues. It was pretty terrible. I spent the money for a better place in future visits. Your hotel looked pretty damn awesome. Anyway, solid series, good editing and use of music. Looking forward to more.

And after a good hike, when you have enough of countryside, you can get back to downtown for a delicious lunch or dinner within an hour.

Yes, HK is a concrete jungle but we also have some very well-maintained world class hiking trails spreading all over HK Island, Kowloon, the New Territories, Lantau and other Outlying Islands. The best part is that you can get back to the city centre to enjoy some delicious dimsum within an hour (or sometimes 30 minutes) after a beautiful hike. It’s all about diversified here … and our city is so compact that you can do a lot in a very short time. However you do need a longer stay to deeply explore HK. Love you happy-go-lucky attitude.
