Great video. As a white guy who lives in the states. I’ve been to Hong Kong many times. If you only spend a week or even tens days you’re not even scratching the surface. I’ve been at least eight times. Like you said it is addicting. The more you go the funner it gets. By far my favorite city in the world. Thanks

Hi Chris glad you’re enjoying causeway bay, I lived there for many years. The street vendors come out almost everyday but only after a certain time of the day for more foot traffic. More of them gather during weekends though. A shame you didn’t go inside Sogo, it’s a huge department store. The basement level has lots of individual food stores, you would of had a blast down there. It is mainly Japanese themed, lots of Japanese snacks and food there. If you keep walking down the end of the street fro Sogo there’s a massive park, Victoria Park. It’s a great place to get away from the city in the city.

The blue fella is a Japanese cartoon character and he used to be called Ding Dong in HK but when the Japanese creator passed away, it was his wish to unify the names to Doraemon (each Asian country had its own localized name for the character before). So they changed his name to Doraemon everywhere and younger kids would know him as Doraemon while older kids would remember him as ding dong in HK. I grew up watching this animation and I actually still do!

Yup, Doraemon is a robot that sent from future. The purpose to send a robot was assist the past himself. So simple.
The robot is not humun, but a cat so it will not too odd to stay in the past. The robot should have cat ears while the ears had been eaten by another animal.

To get to Macau, you just take the TurboJET (approx 1hr). Try to stay in any one of the hotels on the Cotai strip. It’s known as the Las Vegas of the East. It will blow your mind for the sheer opulence that’s everywhere. Visit some of the landmarks such as the Macau tower, Ruins of St Paul, Senado Square and even maybe the Lisboa Hotel (all in the old town)….explore every casino and hotel on the Cotai strip.
