Nice video. I make it the same way - we Gujaratis call it the “khichu” way (like we make rice papad aata aka khichu). Also bajri flour one just has to knead a little more after it ha cooled down & that process makes it gluten like so rotis can be made with belan too & mine are just like the Ragi juwar ones - you do not need to make like maki roti if you follow above ie knead the flour more!! My millet rotis with boiling water & kneading process all turn out like phulka rotis ! By the way - if your bajri flour or millet flour is old than the rotis will crack on sides like maki roti so brush some water on each side!!

Multi grain roti is not suggested. Millets on their own are best. One millet aata at a time as different flours take different times to digest. This is what I heard from my mum. Thnx.

Hello mam I also make the same way with ragi jowar and wheat mix one part of each but i make without cooking in hot water ucan just make the atta as u make for normal chappatis so no need to make in hot water only the colour is a little dark . It is tasty and nutritious. Do try to make without hot water mix all the attas to gether and make chapati the normal way rost on iron tava and put oil or ghee and enjoy .

I always make roti with hot water, without ghee but my roti never becomes soft they r like papars
