    Those shutter speeds at night are blowing my mind (1/1600) 🤯. Guess that's the beauty of the 1.2!!

      He also has his ISO at 1600. At ISO 100 he could be still be shooting at 1/100!

    I'm super new into photography, and while I don't look to be professional, getting a f1.2 lens seems like an absolute must with these incredible pictures! (and at such fast shutter speeds!!). My little point and shoot that I'm replacing could never come close to this.

    • @jake13696
      @jake13696 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Variable ND will help you shoot at faster apertures in the daytime. But otherwise you’ll just have to chuck ISO to 50 and raise your aperture until your exposure is correct

    Great video... Question - how do you get around the 1/8000 max shutter speed, when shooting wide open at F1.2? (in bright daylight) on my smaller RF50mm f1.8 it often clips out at 1/8000!! The only solution is to increase the aperture a stop or two f2.8, f3.2 etc... But I don't want to! - If I lower the iso to 50 - it just blows out the highlights, the files looks yuk! (Street photography on a Canon R6 with the face/eye tracking, shooting wide open @f1.8 is so very easy, what an amazing camera for speed/accuracy, except for the 1/8000 limit!!!).
    On my Fujifilm X-T3 it can shoot up to 1/32,000 - I wish canon had this feature... Anyone use an ND filter 1-2 stop or variable maybe? to get around this issue.

    • @henkkok9437
      @henkkok9437 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      ND filter with 3 or 4 stops should help. The non-variable ones are pretty harmless qualitywise.

    Do you usually shoot manual when youre doing your street photography or do you primarily shoot automatic?

    • @TKNORTH
      @TKNORTH  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I typically shoot in aperture priority for street photography. Manual ISO though so largely controlling my shutter speed based on that. Fastest for me when scenes are changing very quickly

    • @TKNORTH
      @TKNORTH  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there! Often I’m just using auto eye servo tracking! It’s so dam good on the R5. On the occasion if it’s not finding the subject I want to focus on, I’ll manually select the focus point 👍🏼
