NPCs have to finish reacting to a disruptive event before they react to the next one. Stack them and the AI goes into a funk and ignores what 47 is doing.
@@xerael4659 Elusive Targets were limited time special targets that were placed in the maps in rotation. The trick was, in the original version of the game, that you'd only get one shot at them. If they escaped or you were killed after alerting them, the game wouldn't let you attempt it again. Ever. They've since relaxed that restriction but it was a real stressful time if you did them at launch.
Imagine being a guard in this game, random noises, heard gunshots, and accidents happen. Then you see a naked bald man walking past you. You would be confused too
@@bjerrum4921 Even with these strategies if you have perfect execution + good rng on some maps where it's needed it can be sub 17. With new fast Colorado strategy it can easily be sub 17, but fast Colorado itself is hard.
IO should really move Ambrose island to its proper story place in-between whittleton creek and isle of sgail so it makes more sense to future players. Especially considering that they’re now selling the WOA trilogy as one game now

The geometric bomb launch that bounced 4 times on different roofs in Sgail during the last competition is leagues above any strategy I've seen so far. Speedrunners are like surgeons, while those contract guys are like Jack the Ripper.
Amazing you can shoot at someone, run at them with a sniper in hand, and they look at you like they know you're the perp, but then do nothing! But great run! Can never figure out what these speedrunners are doing most of the time 😅

I hope in the future we can have amnesia speedruns where you forget the content of the environment and only remember gameplay mechanics like controls and your player characters relationship to the environment like ai and interaction points
There is an invisible explosive golf ball there in Sapienza. It's there because of the mission story and you can shoot it to explode on the first minute of the mission.
