I made the same exact mistake. Gotta grab mine in NG+ as well. Very sad lol. I like to be as thorough as possible and I missed the beast champion armor as well as this in this playthrough.

@@j.c.5011 bernhal at the warmasters shack. But up all the ashes of war then kill him. Hell give you that armor. Or the king away is do the volcano manor quest line. Then betray them and in haligtree hell invade ya. Best to just kill guy at warmasters shack after buying his stock.

Even tho the scaling is broken rn i swithed to this over my level 20+uchigatana with 102 blood loss. The special attack to me is just more worth it in terms of dps compared to stabbing myself and losing health for something that only lasts like 40 seconds to a minute. Rivers of Blood is gonna be op when they fix the scaling bug
Idk man, that stab yourself bleed procs like every three attacks, and I dual wield one with bloodhound step and the power with sepp its insane
@@AzrealJ I'm nit knocking it at all i love dual wielding seppuku on my uchi's but I feel that when they patch the scaling bug the rivers of blood will be a lot stronger. My arc is at 50 and my dex above 70 so I do a lot of bleed damage no matter what
Hey dude how does your uchigatana have 102 blood loss? Mines level 20 and it still only has 45.
@@oweeb5909 I have mine around 21+ but the seppuku ash of war makes the base bleed increas slightly, i think i put it on the base level one uchi and the bleed jumped up before i even upgraded it. If you're loking for the ash of war it's a little later in the game but still accessible from somewhat mid to early game in the snowy area of the map i believe

Ya I just got it even though I had already beaten the Fire Giant.
Ive beaten the fire giant already and was able to fight and still obtain the sword. The new patch now allows you to fight him after beating the Fire Giant.

Same as the Eleonora’s poleblade is bugged. I think it has to do with dex/arcane scaling messing up those weapons? Who knows. 🤷♂️

You can find Okina (the guy who have the sword) after killing the giant, go to Spiritcaller’s Cave (Close to First church of marika) and you will find him there i just found him by coincidence lol 😂

Yeah I really dislike the person who thought of the idea of not being able to get it. I mean why tho? What could possibly be so beneficial to you that you have to make players unable to fight the dude after the fire giant. I see no logic behind it😭😭😭😭

The fire giant is a point of no return for most quests in the end game. If you defeat him, those quests fail automatically or don’t show up at all. So tie up all loose ends first. 🙏🙏🙏❤️

i literally looked up to getting this from the start of the game. now im 64 hours in and found out that i have missed it... idk about yall but i think its a bug. surely they wouldnt disconnect you from those kinds of missions, right? i get if they disconnect you from some of the bigger side quests and stuff like that, but the invasions are just like small worldevents. i dont get why they would ever disconnect you from that on purpose
Supposedly this was a thing in dark souls 3 but I'm guessing it's a bug since it doesn't really make sense lore wise. In the most recent patch they fixed a bunch of npc quests but this wasn't one of them so hopefully they'll get around to it soon.
Yeah I thought I was only one thinking this I was pretty pressed when I found out it was practically impossible unless I replay almost the whole fuckin game so I really do hope they change that it’s extremely annoying and unnecessary
Won’t be changed. Killing the boss in a zone updates the state of the world. Basically makes time pass.
now you can beat Okina even after the fire giant, or thats what happened with me, maybe it used to be a bug or something idk. hopefully this helps
That invader was tough! I got his health down to almost nothing with Scarlet Rot from the safety of the broken wall of the church. Then he disappeared. When I climbed back down he appeared out of nowhere for a sneak attack. Fortunately I did not need to land many hits to kill him at the point.
If you don’t have every map location spawn point this video will be 90% more hard

if you kill the giant but don't claim the grace, you can still be invaded by okina
source: I literally completed the fight before the final fight and got invaded by okina at the church, still haven't touched the grace at this point in time either
Beating the fire giant takes so many quest away so don’t kill him intil you felt you have finished everything you wanted to
My issue is I can’t equip it at all and I have the stats for it what am I doing wrong bout to break my game due to it

Oh wow it seems the way the fix this its that the invasion happens much lower than the church. So naturally as you going up the fight starts. I didnt even know about this.

You got to at least reach a certain point in the story in order to access the zone where this katana is avaiable.

If you walk around the church at night, Okina is bound to invade you. I came back here after Fire Giant and Crumbling Farum Azula.

I have the rivers of blood and my dex is 18 nothing is red but I can't use any ashes of war on it
Make sure you realize, its not the forst church of marika, its that other church that you have to take a wirlwind up to get to. Really threw me off, its near where you find the map to the area
I haven't gotten this far yet. What's so good about the weapon? Does it proc Rot or Hemorrhage?
It's a blood weapon, one of the best in the game when it comes to blood loss.

It's a blood katana, and bleed is really good for pvp. Also for pve, but pvp guys are loving it. Weapon art is very fast and has great range, proc bleed and watch health bars melt.
The bleed proc is kinda nuts on it tbh.
Seems like u don’t really want to make it easier , u don’t have to kill the erd tree boss to get the rivers of blood , just have 2 ruins and kill morgot the omen king , because when the cut scene comes in I only kill 2 bosses out of the 5 on the chairs when morgot called them traitors and all the chairs are empty

Actually, it may have been patched... I killed the Fire Giant and the NPC still appeared for me. But I haven't been to that church before, so maybe that's why.
So why doesn't he spawn? What does the fire giant have to do with this npc spawning? Just don't know why it locks it.

I assume you upgrade it with somber smithing stones, 10 is the max, but if it’s with normal stones then you can upgrade it to 25 I think

You were completely wrong about how to reach the mountain i watched another tutorial and I had to take a much longer path to reach that mountain with the katana why are elden ring tutorials so bad you couldn't even check that the location you gave led to a deadend cliff why is this video the top result why you you have 1 million subs

40 arcane
15 strength.
It’s basic is mediocre but it’s heavy isn’t a lung like 90% katanas it’s a slash with reach, with a second heavy doing fire damage.
Also it’s fire damage scales with a certain incantation which TH-cam can figure out making it hit 960 AR at level 10+
Oh did I mention it’s skill can one shot a entire team as it’s AOE.
An has a double bleed scaling on skill compared to other katanas.
Alongside it’s the sexiest weapon, with the best weapon art.
Well Ffff this comment they just nearly doubled the damage.

Either have a friend drop theirs for you or go through ng+ and grab it again.

Bugged. Every weapon has scaling or is supposed to scale with those stats in the scaling stat area. Devs are already working on fixing a bunch of stuff for a future patch for some weapons that arent working correctly
They're also aware of those exploits people are using with the flame on incantation procing those weapons affects like death blight, shield spam.

Because bleed is so strong right now and R.O.B. Is probably the last bleed weapon obtained before NG+ which makes it great. But each to there own. I’m still using bandits curved blades at this point in the game hahaha
The patch today made it even stronger btw.. Arcane scaling works properly now on it.
