@@lucaponti8015 Nope, the editor of this video was wrong. That is Evo engine from HD, not even aftermarket like S&S, Revtech, Ultima or TP engineering etc.
And, Opel used to manufacture motorcycle too back then, it is mean that Opel has legit development in motorcycle engine too.
So it's like saying that Honda motorcycle using Honda automobile or Honda aeroplane engine wich is not right. I don't blame the editor tho, cuz I've saw everything in this compilation video even before this clipping was made.

Fun fact- did you ever wonder what the DB in an Aston Martin name meant. David Brown as in the tractor maker- Mr. David Brown built cars before agricultural machinery. At one point he bought the ailing early Aston Martin company and built the early DBs.
I think Toyota Camry and Corolla engines make great motorcycle engines is that they can last more than 500,000 miles mileage.

There is a very good reason why bike manufacturers generally don't use car engines in their bikes. Ride one and find out.

Sadly, missing from this video are 2 of the more elegant car engine motorcycle conversions that I’ve seen. The US Saab distributor had a Saab 850 cc car engine installed in a Norton motorcycle frame in the early 1960’s. It was small enough so the bike still maintained it’s handling abilities unlike the bikes in this video. Secondly, I saw a 1940’s Indian motorcycle that had a Crosley water cooled car engine installed in it in Boulder Colorado. The conversion was a little clumsy because the radiators were hung on both sides of the fuel tank. The owner wanted a fairly low price of $750 for it in the early 1980’s when I had no money to buy such a bike. Although the bike needed a little work, I calculated a collector might be willing to pay around $23,000 for it around 2000. People should also not forget that the first 4 wheel low priced BMW car in the early 60’s was the 700 which used an enlarged BMW boxer twin motorcycle engine.

The one that bothers me is that Lamborghini bike. The damn lines on it are horrific. In my eyes at least. The geometry of the livery, the motor, exhaust, and somewhat frame seem all over the damn place to me. Am I missing something?
