And these beasts chain driven. CRAZY. We must remember these engines and all of the people who built and maintained them for our freedom, on this memorial day.
@@immrnoidall no Brasil a fiat lançou o 147. Parece que ela andou para trás. Nosso país precisava de inovação e ela lançou ele.
Allô.
Le meilleur: Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
Jajajaja.
Non, serieusement, quelle mervelluse imaginatión.
As a German myself, I absolutely adore the Brutus experimental "car" (death trap).
It's the pinnacle of mad German engineering. The way the car irratically starts up, the sound, the power, the danger of trying to tame the beast as you race down the road.
It's beautiful. I never owned anything other than a bicycle myself, but if I ever get a motorized vehicle, then I NEED something, like this!
I've had the privilege of seeing several of these cars close-up and in action. The sounds and smells are amazing and the ground shakes
if you are near enough.
I loved the shot of the GN going up Prescott in the snow. Utterly barmy but unforgettably entertaining idea.
Wow, these cars are incredible! The sound of those engines is unlike anything you hear on the road today. You can really feel the power and history behind these machines. Thanks for sharing this awesome video!
Yes indeed!
A lot of the cars in this video don't have airplane engines, even the first one Fiat.
The old racing cars beautiful 😊😊
Over 100 mph on skinny spoked wheels and a chain drive. Absolute daredevils.
Hi, Thank you for sharing this, i have just four years old when looking at that..! I guess the first owner/builder of these wonderful machines would be really pleased to see their grand grand son still using them so far after their first birth..! Just nice..
The "Brutus " is the one! I love the start up.
Interesting video. I really enjoyed it. Thank you. All of these sounded great. It may have been partly the recorded audio, but the BMW Brutus had about the wickedest exhaust sound, overall, that I have heard, that wasn't a top fuel dragster. The Leyland Thomas was very impressive when the mechanic, or driver, wrapped the throttle a couple of times. Older design, or not, it responded very fast, letting there be no doubt that it was bad assed.
Awesome!! Thank you for sharing this great bit of heritage with all of us!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
I saw the brutus live, was at the Brazeltage, i reccomend it for car people
God I love those old cars! I bet in my former life I worked on them.
The Fiat S76 does not have an airplane engine, it was made for the car. It was a double scaled version of one of Fiat's 14.2L inline 4 engines used in the s74
I wanted to comment this too. Thx
Если бы они ещё ездили такие, как грохочут 😁
21:13 Great job to keep this alive, and that lancia is amazing
Brutus was built from 1998 on and surely wasn't born out of scarcity...
What a collection!
Amazing cars
Nearly all of the Information if not all about BRUTUS in this Video is wrong. It is a creation of the Technik-Museum Sinsheim in Germany assembled and constructed in the late 90s - and not a car built in the WW1 Era. And its surely not a BMW. It’s kept in the Museum to this day and is used quite regularly, for example on "Brazzeltag" once a year.
Danke für die Klarstellung. And folks, the chassis is a 1908 American La France!
I hope to see these cars at goodwood one day.
You forgot to add Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. The winner of all these kind of cars. You know it can also fly and sail right?
My father drove me to school in the actual car in the 1960s
❤ Quelles sont belles toutes ces voitures ! ❤
Sublime ! bravo !
Damn, those cars must require some serious driving skills to move them so fast!
brilliant
Its all about that feeling ...❤
Brutus знает как готовить мясо))
Holy moly!! 8:43 is a Van Halen Hot for teacher motor.
lancia you know that shits crazy
Always fun to watch these old beasts ... and blew me away when the video got to 20:17 as I know the guy and the car ... I believe it is a replica, but it was signed by Stirling Moss a few years back.
Please sort out the subtitles, many of them are with the wrong car. It's such a wonderful topic that it's sad to be wrong
The proper chitty chitty bang bang!
Some of these cars look Absolutely crazy. I don't think I could drive them. The brutus looks as mad as a bag of ferrets. It's the thin wire wheels that get me not enough rubber on the road. Most of these cars would pass health and safety and the polution emissions would be off the scale ! .
the subtitles are messed up. Interesting video even so
The first car isn't even an airplane engine.
Little accuracy matching tittles to videos would be nice😢.
Allô.

2:00, Beautiful
They're so loud because the exhaust/flame is coming straight out of the engine block 😂. grandpa so cool in The DARRACQ V8
Imagine starting this in a gas station
As a Tad and Taid, I know petrol has to go eventually, for them and their peers, but what enormous fun it has been, I hope that just as with steam engines, we manage to keep a few going to show the generations to come how innovative and creative the age of internal combustion was/is.
wow
Bat mobile 2022 should have got silver Bentley Rolls royce engine 😊
Salut my friend super car super video subscribe subscribe 👍👍😎😎🚗🚗
Porn for eyes and hears. Big respect from Russia.
De sacrés engins ! J'aurais peur que le moteur explose !
Too bad the author of this video can't keep the car's title and description concurrent with the video.
Salut my friend super car super video subscribe subscribe 🚗🚗🚘🚘👍👍
Well these are unique 😂 in a good way of course
the freedom of the rich to have their toys
i dont think they worry about global warming not one bit.

That 1905 darracq isn’t a V8 it’s a straight eight
I would like to have known more about the Isotta. Obviously not a Darracq. And the Napier Bentley was built long before WW II, not 1972.
Slight editing needed, as some of the text does not match the cars
Hmmm seems like something Uber rich Europeans do on their leisurely time lol
what mufflers
Compare these to an EV
Cool vs boring?
Wonder what the range is on a charge !!!!
It's km/h, not kph, like it's mph, not m/h, get it?
Your opinion definitely doesn’t matter on this
whether kph or km/h, as long as they work, they're fine
@@My-Opinion-Doesnt-Matter and he should get it. Such a valuable opinion.
K
before the invention of any exhaust
Before stupid regulations took away all the fun😂
@@jasmijnariel like crashing and dying
@@jamesmusisca7547 like i said, taking out the fun. Why do yoy think TT TROPHY on the isle of men still exists?
Every year someone dies.
Because its huge fun!
They WANT to ride on those limits🥰
9:30 That's not a V8.
the driver's eating exhaust that's a lot
It's not a true V8 or Vee. It is a Double inline 4 side by side combination 8 cylinder. How about H4X2, II8 or H8. Those are uppercase i's not ones.
I've never seen so many mistakes in writing
get the exhaust out the back of the car
Why? To be boring like 99.9%?
@@jasmijnariel so you can breathe it helps
Human beings are stupid, the guy turns Brutus on the grass
