I am very glad you included "Torsten Hallman", (A early Euro Champ MX racer), and his visit to the USA that started the sport there, (and it caught on big). But to add, It was Edison Dye, (as bit of a shafty guy), who wanted to import Husky's to the USA, so he hired Torsten to fly here and show off (ride) the Husky at motorcycle dealerships across the USA. The bike, and Torsten's riding skill wowed the shop owners, and the machine that started this great industry in the USA was Husqvarna. But from what I read, it would have been nice if Edison Dye had somebody meet the non English speaking Torsten at the airport when he arrived in the USA. Now the USA should have invented Motocross after WW2, but the affordable Ford Model T hurt motorcycle expansion, and all we had was Harley and Indian,---so we got the Hell's Angles instead. Thanks for pulling us out of that one Husky. :)
