Easily the toughest opponent for me. Meiling got me once, Marisa vibe-checked me a few times, Patche got no diffed, Remi skill-checked me, Nitori/Flan was a hard fought first try, but Reimu??? Man, I lost count of how many times she made me eat dirt
You know, for as difficult as this boss is, it could possibly be one of the best, because if you know exactly what you're doing, you can get through that first phase in only 2 or 3 loops of her attacks easily.
Reimu Hakurei Belmont Excel of Whip and Paper charm same as Juste Belmont who both Whip and Magic and have aura cover body that leave afterimage when move/attack
Reimu being an extra boss.. People not realizing she's always extra boss strength, we just weaken her because we are playing as her... Reimu is always terrifyingly strong.. and very much done with everyone's nonsense.
When fighting Reimu if I die the first time what I like doing is stopping time, using thousand knives resuming time and repeating till I’ll run out of time (ie having 40ish after using thousand knives) leaving time stopped after the last thousand knives, start sprinting while holding the attack button to charge slowing down time as soon time un-freezes, slowing down time while spamming attack (the normal knife throw). Because I’ve already triggered the starting dialogue (I’ve already died at this point) the battle starts straight away and now there an absolute but tone of knives going to hit reimu, my computer is lagging because to many entities and I can now majesty jump over reimu in laggy slow-mo and almost trigger phase 2 or 3 (whichever phase she starts flying in).
@@CasePompano1106 when you are close to the exit of stage 1, there will be a ladder that you can only reach there using the Double jump, then only you will follow this path and you will find the white portal
I think its either a throwback or a reference to zun's old way and most famous form of composing musics. Its literally just those romantic trumpets lmao.

This fight was fun also I loved how one of the attacks in the second phase is a call back to Touhou 1:Highly Responsive to Prayers.
That was so cool. Took me a second to realise.
Yea and I was kinda hoping for a remix of Eternal Shrine Maiden on the second phase but Maiden Capriccio works too
The cherry on top was that Reimu's PC98 design phases in and out of existence as she does the attack.

Finish the normal game, so at the end of the credits screen it will say that the white portal has opened, then only you go there

ngl this remix sounds terrible even though I like all the other ones from this game
