The BEST way to explore South Devon! (Dartmouth steam railway and river boat company)

In this video, I explore wonderful Dartmouth, Paignton, Kingswear and Totnes as I explore South Devon!
I first travel from Exmouth to Paignton by GWR train, then take a bus from Paignton to Totnes. Then, I take a boat from Totnes to Dartmouth and hop over to Kingswear on a short ferry. Then I take the nostalgic steam train!

I really enjoyed this video Claire!
A couple of months ago I did the same trip but in the opposite direction which I filmed for my channel.
I stayed a very long time in Kingswear. Like you, I did not find a lot to do there though. I used the stop mainly for recharging my phone after taking way too much footage on the steam train!
I adored Dartmouth town and the cruise to Totnes. I want to see Totnes Castle one day and love the look of Dartmouth Castle too. I really want to revisit all of these places when I get the opportunity.

Haha, I was having big battery problems on this day too and completely forgot my charger!
Yes, Dartmouth is lovely and definitely recommend both castles, they're fascinating!
