As stated in the previous video, I was having a few issues with my 2020 Yamaha R1.
My speedometer, quickshifter, ABS and traction control all weren't working. The bike was rideable but I had a check engine light on the dash and a few other warning lights.
In this video, I finally got to fix all that using an OBD2 Scanner app
I always forget that our summer is your winter lol. Glad that device sorted out the quickshifter that is very cool. Looking forward to seeing the road test and hearing more of that beast!!!!
Yeah, new content is definitely coming bro, slowly getting used to the aggression of the R1 😄. I'm just hoping for more dry weekends to take it up to the hills/twisties.
Now I know why you said you are jealous of the weather 😂 honestly, our "summer" is so fucked these days... you get super hot days followed by days with drops of 15 degrees randomly. Our winters are the same, last year I had the bike out till December, and then it went from 12 degrees to negative 3 with meters of snow and ice that the city somehow was unable to remove properly. I think you are still winning in terms of weather over there in Oz! Anyway, interesting vid!
It really is a privilege to be able to ride all year round, my brain can't even fathom what 'meters of snow' looks like haha.
Summer here can get really toasty, making wearing motorcycle gear really uncomfortable. I've found that the best time of the year for riding is Autumn and Spring here.
