Wow using the Xbox app to play audio over a Bluetooth headset is a game changer. I'm gonna try this immediately. I wish I had known about this neat trick sooner.
Just know that once the true next generation games come out that need the internal ssd, you will not be able to play off of a USB 3.0 external ssd. An install to the internal ssd or the expansion slot ssd will be needed.

The reason the expansion card is worth it is because it is compatible with the X velocity technology so load times and quick resume work to their full potential

I find even when connected to a 5ghz router over wifi, there is a delay making it not worth it
