Don't hate on people who love physical media. We liked the digital stuff too, but there's just something special about owning and opening a brand new game
Don't hate digital only pls. We love physical too but only the USA has decent deals on physical. So the rest of the world digital sales is the way to go

The great thing about discs was that you could re-sell them, and buy used games for cheap. This however cost the companies a lot of money so now they prefer digital only as you can no longer do this.
@@77dris true but discs were a lot cheaper to make than cartridges and they held a hell of a lot more media. So there was a time when publishers and console companies loved transitioning to CD-ROMs versus manufacturing cartridges. Saved them hundreds of millions of dollars 💰
Little tip with hdr calibration if you press all four trigger buttons on the calibration screen it gives you the numeric values - you want to hit 000 on the black levels and then look up your screens peak brightness for the white levels and input the figures relatively- this saves the generic “ until you can barely see” being so vague and gives you correct levels 👍🏻

Sounds like a good plan, except that there are sometimes significant variances in levels, even among the same model of TV/monitor. Each setup almost always requires individual setup. Source: ISF
@@PeteNice29 I would say definitely with deeper calibration such as white balance and colour gamut etc , but there won’t be “significant “ differences in peak brightness . black level is literally zero - it’s calibrating itself to your initial setup , as it should implemented ( hdr calibration ) post augmentation of your brightness ratio.

Switching to series x from one s made my download speed go from 10-20 mbps go 150 - 200 mbps

I like it too, just think they should add an option to get all games to pull up by pressing left from the home screen. And maybe up for settings.

The Xbox Apps suck because they constantly disconnect from my system and I can't add titles to my library from my game pass account anymore.

My brother is a big time platinum trophy hunter. He said getting the platinums for Dark Souls(Ps4) was near impossible. He's rated in the top 500 in Canada.

I have a platinum on darks souls 1 on PS3 and dark souls 2 and almost Bloodborne but I got dark bored

World's most powerful console, but Redfall and Starfield are locked at 30. No point in having a strong console if you don't have people that can utilize that power
Starfield is at 30fps because they are pushing the limits with graphics and size. The same game would crash on a PS5 and wouldn't even hit 30fps. But I will say they should give the option to downgrade the graphics to hit 60fps. I get it though, part of the experience of this game will be to truly look "next-gen" and that's what the developers intended.
30fps is completely enjoyable.

Well, Microsoft were do I start if it's on xbox series x or pc there's always a screen tearing or ghosting on the screen it's not only me I've spoken to alot of people on TH-cam and tiktok out it and its only on Microsoft software. I brought a new TV and thought it was that so I sent it back 3 times even swapped the model still the same Microsoft need to sort the stuff out it's annoying they make all this money and they can't seem to sort things out
I finally got to purchase one in 2024. Even paid less than retail for a new one. I wanted to get one at launch but scalpers kinda ruined the launch. I'll milk this console for 7 years until the next Xbox is available in retail in the year 2031. It has been a huge upgrade over my Intellivision console from the 1980s.
What is the point in having a series x that has a disc drive if you just want us to download games and use game pass . The whole point of the series x was for people who enjoy physical games.

And if you are in the middle of a game and they decide to take off that game then you have to buy that game just to finish the it. Also with digital games so many off them have been talking off the store due to the lose of licensing. Also there's been a lot of games taking off the store and if you bought them you can no longer play some off them.

You can re-download your games once you are signed in to your new console. As long as you have your account the games you bought are attached to it.

My Series X keeps overheating whenever I run games at 4k / 120hz on my LG Oled C2 tv - literally happens after 10 - 20 mins every time
It's standing vertical and out in the open with nothing next to it or covering it. The temperature of my room is about 70 degrees F
not matter what I do it keeps overheating unless I drop my resolution down to 1440p. This is really frsuatrting as I spent lots of money for this setup so I can game in 4k 120hz - anyone have any ideas or is my xbox malfunctioning?
the system CAN do 4k 120hz, but it’s not meant to do that for long times, usually it either targets 4k60 or 1440 or 1080 at 120fps, it needs a lot of optimization to handle that frame rate
Done with the most powerful box. I sold it last week. Had enough of it. I now have only my ps5, which is waaay better than the box in every sense to me.
I'm not gonna leave my xbox in sleepmode wasting power just so i can remote play and remote start downloads

What pushes me towards Playstation 5 is the ease and affordability of adding additional storage. With the Xbox and the Seagate external SSD it's so obvious MS really wanted to milk their players.

Microsoft added an update in July of 2023 to disable almost all customization of the Home Screen, in favor of Advertisments and whatnot...
My Xbox Series X is un-plugged and doing nothing. I went back to PC gaming. I'm done with AAA games turning out to be un-finished garbage. And my Series controller make PC gaming easy.

@@MrRAGE22cause the main purpose of buying an ps 5 is for it's exclusives. but if u play daily for a year all those exclusives will get over. and u won't have any other games and u will have to buy the newer AA and AAA games for like 60$-70$ per game. Xbox has game pass which gives u 400+ games which has 100+ AAA games plus all the cod of duty games are also coming on game pass later in this year so u will never run out of games on xbox and that to for a low price of 60$ per year which is infact the cost of buying a single AAA game on ps5 now u would say ps5 has good controllers who cares? what matters the most is the number of games can enjoy for a low price gamepass also includes games like gta5 and rdr2 was also on there for like 3 months all the walking dead games all fifa games all battlefield games etc
@@fogman6969 game pass is good but I really don’t care too much about it and not only that but the main purpose of buying a PS5 is not just for its exclusive games I got my ps5 for until dawn the last of us series and days gone and ps5 also has a good subscription service! May not be as good as game pass but it still gives me everything it gives you on game pass even day one PlayStation exclusives will eventually come to ps plus eventually we also get the same amount of games as game pass as well as ps2 games and ps3 even though we can only stream ps3 games! PlayStation is also much more popular than Xbox which means games will sometimes get exclusive content only on PlayStation for a while before it comes to Xbox or pc and Nintendo and even after all these things the ps exclusives are just the cherry on top but to each their own lol happy gaming!✌️

PS5 has higher frame rate on most games, both PS5 and Xbox X have the same CPU. So I doubt one is more powerful. It's all about software. 8TB PS5 verses 2TB Xbox X. 60fps is the bottom of the barrel in PC GPUs. A $300 PC can hit 380fps.
12.1 teraflops vs 10.3, 3.8 GHz vs 3.5 GHz idk that just sounds a bit more powerful to me🤷

In other words you don't really own any game. Physical or digital. And you definitely don't own the console you're playing games on. Yeah works good. Definitely helps out on multi-player games. I made a mistake on buying one of the first gaming monitors that does 4k 120 its an acer nitro and its not as good as my TV. I got a Samsung qled TV and the response time beats my gaming monitor. I should of waited instead of being a Ginny pig

I believe the series X has a custom Gen 4 NVME. The expansion cards run at gen 3.
