It's so odd NOT seeing someone carving a neck in the patented Ben Crowe quartering pencil line method. I do like that the truss rod can be adjusted without taking the neck off. That really bothers me on vintage-correct strats.
? question: Why is this his first S style guitar? Just his job to make "other" styles? He favours other styles? As such, how has his history with other styles affected how he builds this guitar? How does it affect things like neck shape, fret board shape, etc.?
I guess for a limited collector piece its cool but as far as guitar building goes theres nothing that here that a harley benton or LTD couldnt do just as good. Sadly for handmade guitar builders, cnc technology is making anything but the art/ clout value completely irrelevant.

That rasp with the saw blades is fantastic. It just hogs the wood right off. Impressive. It has 2 different sides right? Coarse & fine? Nice.
Exactly the same method I used to carve a neck in 1964, and I never had a clue what I was doing!!!
