teenage smoking rates in the 80's dropped off to the lowest level in decades and immediately began to increase after 1991 once the PSAs disappeared...I wonder if having Mr. T tell you smoking was for losers had some impact. Today we have 22 minute episodes with some barfy forced message like "be yourself" that must be so boring for kids to watch.
