Chuck is necessary, he speaks the truth always. Draymond needs to be that dude for when Chuck retires. It’s going to be very hard to do whole he’s still in the game.
0:40 it seems rather obvious that before Brandon was 2/10ths of the way down to the floor, Dray switched to a strategy of preventing dude from getting hurt while landing. My rather optimistic take is that Dray was "braking" his flop-fall, out of a basic ethical courtesy to all NBA players to help them prevent injury to themselves. Pulling up on the jersey to reduce the force of impact on the floor. That kind of thing was definitely happening by the time dude hit the ground, no doubt.
He doesn't need to be defensive about what he did. He plays hard, i don't think he wants to hurt anyone. I just want him to play smart and don't arrgue with the refs all the time. Just let it go. Go warriors!!!!
If you listen to his podcast today he is doing a disservice to himself by trying to play like someone else. He is gonna play hard and be emotional because that what makes him great. Without that he is not MoneyGreen.
Imagine if social media was around like this when Rasheed Wallace, Rodman, and Metta World Peace were playing and they could tell their side of the story ON TNT!??!! That would have been a treat! This is super dope!!

watching the warriors is something historical, rarely do you see a real team in the nba, let alone 1 with arguably 3 superstars. offense, defense, adjustments, the warriors are head and shoulders above every team in the league at this point and injuries or giannis going nuclear are the only threats to the warriors
Whether you agree or not, I appreciate that at least this show has some one that can push back at Dray and call him out if they disagree with him. And that some one wasn't Shaq
Crazy I’m gonna say this but Shaq IS right. He was ready to fall after he let the ball go. Granted Draymond gave him a good smack in the face. TNT needs to have player’s court more often to defend themselves on the fouls 😂😂
@@joweydelanota7421 my first words were “crazy” meaning I see what they all saying but if you watch the clip after Clarke got hit he knew to go down following the slap in the face. But you’re allowed to have your OWN opinion. Salute

He only and always wants to talk about what the other team did wrong....If one team doesn't play well maybe the defense has something to do with it...So many haters are going to be sick if the Warriors win the Chip this season...Chuck included...
Look, Shaq was for sure downplaying the foul a bit, but he is dead right about Draymond not pulling. You can all watch and see it, his arm never flexes or pulls and his elbow doesn't bend at all. He certainly grabbed him and held on, but he wasn't putting force into dragging him down or anything like that.
He didn’t pull him by bringing in his elbow or anything like that but he pulled him laterally because Dray was jumping sideways not straight up and down. Inadvertent pull if you want but pull nonetheless.
grabbing the jersey alone was bad enough 'cuz the result was predictable when you do it to someone mid-air...he didn't let go of the jersey and gave a bullshit reason for that...
Dray grazed Clarke in the head and it was deemed a Flagrant 1....ok that's fine, but where is that same energy when Clarke grazed Poole head of the 3 pointer. These refs are just so inconsistent. They went to the monitor because of the jersey pull not the graze to the head.
Regardless of what people think of him I absolutely love the fact that he is doing his broadcast during the playoffs and basically breaking down all the games. I hope more players start doing that so we can replace the current media along with their Goat obsession and horrible takes.
Because it's a dumb ass question. Dafuq u think a player gonna say. U hear Aaron donald saying he's sorry for being offside on last play of super bowl when it wasn't called ?? On the other hand, a FAN perspective I can see how the answer would change
I have to agree with Draymond and Shaq. That was a hard foul and no real intent was there. If dray wanted to hurt the young fella......he would have done it!
I don't think Dray was trying to hurt anybody, but there is very seldom intent to injure someone on a flagrant foul call. I've seen a lot of guys get ejected for less. I'm a jazz guy, and I recall a flagrant 2 ejection on Bogdanovic earlier this year, where all he was doing was trying to get out of the way. Didn't hit the guy or nothing. Guy is driving Bogey tries to move out of his way, turns sideways to try to avoid bumping him, collides with him while he's in the air - flagrant 2 ejection. I don't recall anybody defending him.
Chuck has the best Character on media, I don’t care what anyone else says but the thing I like about him the most is that he’s never a Yes man. It’s the best kinda of friend to have, I really consider him a role model even
This feels so weird hearing from a player who is playing rn and breaking down tactics and coach instructions etc. Is he not worried that he might slip up and accidentally say something which leads to an opponent capitalising?
i was worried too but he really didn't say anything more than the obvious. What he really wanted to say was "Memphis cant out shoot us. They can go on any run they want but we erase any lead there is"
It's definitely a flagrant 1 for the hit to the head but i thought a flagrant 2 was BS. Coming from a Grizzlies fan i love Dray. I knew it wasn't intentional.
Problem is his actions could’ve really hurt him. He thought about what was beneficial to the team first before the players well-being. Good call In my opinion
@@laniedmd1126-yea, a reputation he built from dirty play after dirty play. When you play basketball, do you grab players by the collar when they’re in the air? If you’re not a dirty player you don’t..
I’m so happy dray is finally getting the respect he deserves. Us warriors fans have been knowing this dray for years and I’m happy to see people finally understanding the kind of person he is on and off the court ! Kudos to him
The first move was a hard foul which he went for the ball. The second move was a flagrant foul which he pulled his jersey then stopped him from falling flat on his face. Therefore, one personal foul and one technical foul should have been given. There is no way this particular series of action is called for ejection. If he pulled his jersey to drag him all the way down to the floor, then that is excessive thus it will call for ejection.
For the record, I love that Dray controlling the narrative and using his own likeness to report out on his own podcast, and not giving the media all his info...they want it, they can report out from his controlled podcast....LOVE IT, BRILLIANT AND MORE ATHLETESNEED TO THIS! CONTROL YOUR OWN ISH, AND NOT LET NON-OBJECTIVE COMMENTATORS BOX YOU IN🤷🏿♂️
He basically said that’s a regular player fouling a marquee player in the NBA the regular will be ejected. He said who’s Brandon Clarke?! He got ejected off reputation
In the slow motion video it does appear that he pulled the jersey, but I don't think that's what happened. I think when he went for the foul his arm came down and caught the jersey and when Clarke fell it pulled his hand. This is only happening in a matter of seconds. In the slow mo you don't see Draymond pulling his arm toward himself as if he's trying to pull him toward him.
he grabbed the jersey while moving away from the player. the net effect is a pulled jersey. what kind of mental gymnastics are you people working with? He should not be grabbing jerseys! That's the point of the whole thing. he should not be slapping people in the face and calling it defense.
@@Kevinschart because the argument for the flagrant 2 was a "wind up and throw down" not the jersey grab. There was no jersey grab, had he grabbed the jersey and then let him fall hard, that would have been way more dangerous. Dray pulled him up as he fell, which you can see clearly in the slow mo
Stop defending draymond, the guy ended up hitting the guy with his right hand and then proceeded with his left hand to grab his jersey to pull him down.

coaching too memphis tried to run doubles early and force steph to give it up and got shredded by kerrs choice to use gp as the role man, and even when memphis coach adjusts kerr has seen so much more from better coaches that its unfair
memphis fraudulant team true!
Don't count out the grizz doe
TNT is smart for signing Draymond early he would great addition or replacement for the Inside crew.
Am I the only one who thought they were having Déjà Vu or a lag when Charles repeated the same exact thing 4 times in a row?
Thought I was tripping 😭
🤣🤣🤣🤣 I said the same thing

Love Draymond. Current Player and Media Personality at the same time.
LMFAOOOOOOOOO the look of defeat chuck "ok" I'M DYING

Yo but why did Brandon Clarke just lay there afterwards like he got shot or somethin 💀😭
Gotta sell it
He been watching Lebron too much over selling
You're a big L with your LA Flippers
Draymond Green is one of the few today's player's with that old school mentality that's good for the game
That kind of thing was definitely happening by the time dude hit the ground, no doubt.
draymond answered every question near perfect in my opinion
I can tell part of Barkley still wants to punch Draymond in the face 😂
He doesn't need to be defensive about what he did. He plays hard, i don't think he wants to hurt anyone.
I just want him to play smart and don't arrgue with the refs all the time. Just let it go. Go warriors!!!!
If you listen to his podcast today he is doing a disservice to himself by trying to play like someone else. He is gonna play hard and be emotional because that what makes him great. Without that he is not MoneyGreen.
Glad Chuck kept it real as he always does. Draymond saying he got two flagrant 1s is the exact point chuck is making….. 1+1 does equal 2 Draymond….
Imagine if social media was around like this when Rasheed Wallace, Rodman, and Metta World Peace were playing and they could tell their side of the story ON TNT!??!! That would have been a treat! This is super dope!!
The review centre said it’s flagrant one but the ref ignored and concluded a flagrant two

draymond is so well-spoken and articulate, but also an extremely talented story teller. this is why even a casual fan like myself can just listen to him for hours. looking forward to more of his content at turner.
He gotta be careful we all know his reputation, i just want him to play like the talent he is and control those turnovers
Turnovers man!! The warriors better watch that else they're in trouble
Turnovers man!! The warriors better watch that else they're in trouble
Total teamwork by Dray…👍
watching the warriors is something historical, rarely do you see a real team in the nba, let alone 1 with arguably 3 superstars. offense, defense, adjustments, the warriors are head and shoulders above every team in the league at this point and injuries or giannis going nuclear are the only threats to the warriors
April Fool's Day is over bro lol
@@dwighteldrichmanaol8922 come back after the suns get dogged too
@@IsaacMSingleton1 I doubt the Suns get dogged. The Warriors should be killing the Grizz, it's too close.
Whether you agree or not, I appreciate that at least this show has some one that can push back at Dray and call him out if they disagree with him. And that some one wasn't Shaq
That’s bcuz Shaq agreed with him. I also agree with him and Shaq, the guy was jumping and Dreymond had a hold of his jersey
EXACTLY!!!
@@MentLeee huh? If watching slowed down, it's beyond extremely obvious that he grabbed the jersey and pulled him down. Whatchu smoking?
Crazy I’m gonna say this but Shaq IS right. He was ready to fall after he let the ball go. Granted Draymond gave him a good smack in the face. TNT needs to have player’s court more often to defend themselves on the fouls 😂😂
Fax if draymond pulled Clarke woulda flew face first
You do realize that Shaq is being sarcastic right

The media wants to talk about everything but the Warriors winning game 1 on the road...Chuck never gives credit to the Warriors for playing well. He only and always wants to talk about what the other team did wrong....If one team doesn't play well maybe the defense has something to do with it...So many haters are going to be sick if the Warriors win the Chip this season...Chuck included...
Barkley hates successful small ball. He played bully ball so it's understandable what he prefers.
Draymond Green needs to be in hall of fame twice. The guy is a legend on and off the court.
🐂
Yessirrrrrr
Ok relax 😂🤣
Soft call.
@@Clark807 but if it’s inadvertent than it’s a flagrant 1 not two that’s what they are saying.
Yeah but that still counts. If Shaq is flying through the air and has hand on your shirt like that you're probably getting launched into the stands.
Chuck the only one that actually spoke the truth
No he didn’t
Draymond: "I didn't smack him! His face smacked my hand!"
I'm sorry but Shaq is sooooo reaching on this🤣 Chuck's facial expressions are everything this segment!

bro shaq just being real about it lol kenny and chuck were about tag team him lol
Duh. Can't you recognize sarcasm
Just like draymond reached for the ball, missed, and caught his shirt. It’s not reaching when it’s literally there in slow motion.
Cmon we all see draymond pull his Jersey chuck right 2 flagrant 1s which equals flagrant 2
Dray grazed Clarke in the head and it was deemed a Flagrant 1....ok that's fine, but where is that same energy when Clarke grazed Poole head of the 3 pointer. These refs are just so inconsistent. They went to the monitor because of the jersey pull not the graze to the head.
Inconsistent against the Warriors its these refs are 3 blind mice
Now this is must see TV 🍿 😂🍿🍿
I like and respect Draymond Green even more after this!
Always great to have Draymomd on TNT
Regardless of what people think of him I absolutely love the fact that he is doing his broadcast during the playoffs and basically breaking down all the games. I hope more players start doing that so we can replace the current media along with their Goat obsession and horrible takes.
Just Draymond being Draymond. You hate him when he’s not on your team but when he’s on your team, you love him
He costed The Warriors the 2016, a ACTUAL CHAMPIONSHIP! So no, I don’t love him on my team lol.
HE AINT WANNA ANSWER THAT ROLES REVERSED QUESTION 😂😂🤣
Steph curry hardly get calls.
Because it's a dumb ass question. Dafuq u think a player gonna say. U hear Aaron donald saying he's sorry for being offside on last play of super bowl when it wasn't called ?? On the other hand, a FAN perspective I can see how the answer would change

The Chuckster can’t be stopped 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🐐
I have to agree with Draymond and Shaq. That was a hard foul and no real intent was there. If dray wanted to hurt the young fella......he would have done it!
Grabbing someone is ok huh? … I want you to be on fastbreak when I’m playing against you. … Keep the same energy
@@Slow-Rolling Ikr
That's illegal in the NFL, the end
It’s the best kinda of friend to have, I really consider him a role model even
Brandon had to watch the replay to actually realize he was hit twice. Poole got hit in the head at least 3 times with NO CALL
Lmao dray trying to convince Chuck and the guys that he didn’t mean to pull the dudes Jersey is wild. They know
We were up by 10 in the 3rd..but our shots weren’t dropping..damn.
This feels so weird hearing from a player who is playing rn and breaking down tactics and coach instructions etc. Is he not worried that he might slip up and accidentally say something which leads to an opponent capitalising?
Pretty sure this is nothing different than a press conference. Don't overthink it.
I mean. He's not talking Xs and Os out of warriors playbook. Besides that, there's nothing he can say that the Mem scouting report doesn't know.
No bc he's not dumb is what you're not realizing
i was worried too but he really didn't say anything more than the obvious. What he really wanted to say was "Memphis cant out shoot us. They can go on any run they want but we erase any lead there is"
What makes this different than post game interviews?
That's some next level spin by Dray. Caught in his jersery??? Come on man.
Still only a flagrant 1 though.
Whole lotta capping going on her dray was clear as day dragging buddy because he didn't want him to get that bucket
Draymond gonna wear a go pro to the games next, the way he be everywhere 😂

This man got one of the best minds in basketball.
Draymod gotta be first one in the industry that create news, covers them and explain them too
It's definitely a flagrant 1 for the hit to the head but i thought a flagrant 2 was BS. Coming from a Grizzlies fan i love Dray. I knew it wasn't intentional.
Yea, it’s not like he has a history of dirty cheap shots or anything..
Problem is his actions could’ve really hurt him. He thought about what was beneficial to the team first before the players well-being. Good call In my opinion

I’m so happy dray is finally getting the respect he deserves. Us warriors fans have been knowing this dray for years and I’m happy to see people finally understanding the kind of person he is on and off the court ! Kudos to him
Warriors back in the heat of playofffffs...bone chillin for dubs fans watching these games.
Draymond is speaking FACTS
Draymond is amazing both on and off the court!!!!! 3 World titles too
The first move was a hard foul which he went for the ball. The second move was a flagrant foul which
he pulled his jersey then stopped him from falling flat on his face. Therefore, one personal foul and one
technical foul should have been given. There is no way this particular series of action is called for ejection.
If he pulled his jersey to drag him all the way down to the floor, then that is excessive thus it will call for ejection.
You got it 100% correct!!
Chuck and Dray putting the past "perceived beef" they had behind them. Two grown men are like " let's just move on". That's class
This is definitely going to help him the next game
use to hate Drae, he’s great now and seems like he grew up a lot from the kicking the nuts days
For the record, I love that Dray controlling the narrative and using his own likeness to report out on his own podcast, and not giving the media all his info...they want it, they can report out from his controlled podcast....LOVE IT, BRILLIANT AND MORE ATHLETESNEED TO THIS! need to do more interviews with other players during playoff time , it brings an insight to the games
He dodged the shoe on the other foot question.
He basically said that’s a regular player fouling a marquee player in the NBA the regular will be ejected. He said who’s Brandon Clarke?! He got ejected off reputation
The way Draymond delivers his thoughts is so clear.
Draymond is consistent he specifically said Marcus Smart's play where he injured Steph wasn't a dirty play
Draymond never retracted his arm, he was actually trying to soften the guy fall. I like Draymond spirit. Beast mode!
We're supposed to pretend we didn't see what we saw 🤣 talk about that wild little victory lap too...
@3:55 Chuck repeated himself like 10 damn times good lord💀💀💀💀💀
In the slow motion video it does appear that he pulled the jersey, but I don't think that's what happened. I think when he went for the foul his arm came down and caught the jersey and when Clarke fell it pulled his hand. This is only happening in a matter of seconds. In the slow mo you don't see Draymond pulling his arm toward himself as if he's trying to pull him toward him.
the reason he gave for not letting go of the jersey is complete nonsense
he grabbed the jersey while moving away from the player. the net effect is a pulled jersey. what kind of mental gymnastics are you people working with? He should not be grabbing jerseys! That's the point of the whole thing. he should not be slapping people in the face and calling it defense.
@@Kevinschart exactly...it's just like Chuck said about him earlier .."you've never committed a foul" :D
Revealing what was discussed at half time by Steve Kerr is exposing the team tactics.
More focus & concentration is needed at this level.
