Seriously... Jordan Poole hasn't just taken a leap this season, he's getting better still as the season goes along. He was constantly at the rim finishing in all types of ways all game, so much that you'd forget that he can pull up from anywhere. This whole playoff he's been their main threat. And yes, the commentator said "battle tasted"

Actually the Referees weren't all that big of a factor. Warriors had more FG's, more rebounds and more assists. Nothing the Refs could do about that.

In the end, 2 huge defensive stop by the Warriors one by Steph and one by Klay. Along with so many other honorable mentions by JP, Wiggs, GP2 and so on. Great team effort by the Warriors. Draymond is coming back hungry with that.
The moment GP2 got benched in 4th quarter, Memphis found very easy scores. GP2 is very necessary for defence.

You can see the difference in experience, Warriors are so tough cause they believe in miracles 😂 they have seen it all, they have lost a 3-1 lead, lost 20+ lead, overcame 20+ deficit, etc (in the playoffs) as a spurs fan it remind me of the old Big 3 spurs and how we won games and series just by experience, specifically vs Portland and Memphis, veteran championship teams don’t get rattled or too excited, young teams do and sometimes it help (energy is a big factor) sometimes it work against.
Good game tho, Ja should have taken a jumper in the paint or go for a floater imo… or go stronger, good defense tho.

In 2014, the “young” Warrior team changed the landscape of the NBA forever with their three point shooting, quick tempo , teamwork, unselfishness, ball movement and play…to see the Grizzlies playing reminded me of this. The grizzlies need to learn humility and not to promote trash talking like they were on the streets playing ball.

A thrillingly insane game (notwithstanding the poor refereeing)! A foretaste of things to come. This matchup is fire, experience vs youth. GSW had proven they can win even without their biggest defender. Poole, GP2, Klay, Wiggs, Looney--and ofc the Chef contributed to an almost impeccable offense, despite the gargantuan effort of Ja and JJJ. 2022 Playoff season is turning out to be one of the best in the 2000s!

The refs were terrible against the Warriors. After Thompson missed the second free throw, the ball went out on Memphis. Refs fkped up bad on that play which could have given the game to Memphis. Noticed the espn only did one replay. The other out of bounds play they replayed it like 10 times.

Griz playing at home with Dray ejected is probably the most ideal circumstance to win and they still came just a layup short.

I personally thought that grizz would win this game. Curry missed open layups and threes, thompson not shooting well, dray ejected early in the first half. But, damn!!they still manage to win .Beware grizz cause they're gonna be stronger and tougher next game.

@@john50beach18 i still think the pros heavily outweigh the cons. there’s definitely a case to be made about how golden state’s offense can operate without draymond as we still outplayed them in that end after he was ejected. however, down the stretch, we saw how ja penetrated the paint too many times. that wouldn’t have happened if draymond was there. i vividly remember ja doing the same thing earlier in the game but stopping right before the free throw line because draymond was waiting for him. ultimately, draymond can clean up his passes, but nobody can replace what he does for the game.
