I just finished Metal Slinger and it’s amazing!!! Please read it! I actually think you would love it if you can get past some of the more amateurish writing elements. The author has a lot of room to grow! There’s definitely flaws and I’m nervous for possible plot holes depending on the second book but…I can’t stop thinking about it! Something about it just felt really fun and new.
You asked at the ending about books we read in 2024 that stood out. Obviously other than all the SJM books I read I randomly stumbled upon a the Dragon Heart Legacy Trilogy. 1st book in the series is the Awakening 4.19 rating on good reads. I loved this Trilogy sooooo much. Anyway love listening to you guys!
Would love for you two to have an episode of Quicksilver when you both have it read! Book 2 comes out in November and it's definitely my most anticipated book for the year.
Fantasy Fangirls is doing a deepdive of kindred's curse this year, so I'm sure that will boost readership of it! I have yet to read it, but I'm hoping to complete it before they begin their coverage of it!
The best part of having an adult child? Having A LOT of time to read! I met my goal of 200 books in late afternoon on NYE. 😅
