I had no idea Silverborn was so delayed because of long covid. I really hope it will come out next year. I just love this series so much. The wait has been long, but I am sure it will be worth it. :)
I discovered your videos a couple of months ago and I just want to say thank you! I, just like most of us here I assume, follow quite a lot of people who make book content and after a while you kind of see the same books pop up in most videos, or you eventually know almost all the books that are being recommended. I don't know how you do it but you are the only person who consistently recommends books that 9 out of 10 I have never heard of 😃 I love that! Thank you for all of the time and energy you put into these videos 💗
Knowing has already been ordered by my library, so onto my Library reserves it goes, thanks for the heads-up. Two other books I'm anticipating are "Three Days in June" is a 2025 release of Anne Tyler's and Han Kang has "We Do Not Part" coming in 2025 too.
Thank you for all the work you did to find these anticipated 2025 releases. I am eager to see which titles will be published and featured here in the US.
ooh thanks for this video ! Looks like there are so many I havent heard of, so I'll def bookmark this vid to check out everything later on. Personally I'm also looking forward to these novels amongst others: Mere by Danielle Giles, Mending Bodies by Han Lai-Chu (Dystopian Literary Fiction), Dream State by Eric Puchner (Character centric Literary Fiction ), Colony by Annika Norlin (Literary fiction), The Starving Saints by Caitlin Starling (Queer medieval horror), Money to Burn by Asta Olivia Nordenhof (Historical Scandinavian mystery), Hungerstone by Kat Dunn (Historical fantasy horror, retelling of Carmilla), Land of Hope by Cate Baum (Speculative dark fiction)
What a fabulous video, I’ve added SO many to my to buy list, thank you for taking the time. A couple of new releases I’m looking forward to early next year are: Show Me Where It Hurts by Claire Gleeson and Show Don’t Tell by Curtis Sittenfeld.
Wonderful list: I’m especially excited for the new Sarah Moss. You are so lucky with your library though: I request a ton of titles (front and backlist) and they NEVER actually get any of them
I am 100% the same with audio books. I really struggle with it. I'm really loving the immersion reading, sometimes I start with immersion reading and do chunks where it's just the audiobooks.
Although this isn't a recommendations video...thought I would let you know that I am reading Ties by Domenico Starnone... that you recommended years ago. It is very good....I have tabs all over the place!❤
I'm reading some amount of new releases, but I'm often more lucky with backlist books. But I love contemporary nonfiction, because it got so much better over the years. I'm actually quite surprised that you still interested in reading Adichie. But maybe I'm not up to date with her statements and positions.

These sound amazing, I’ve added most to my wish list.
Hi Mercedes....you always mention books I know I will like...and know I would never have heard of..without your videos. Thank you!
Thanks Mercedes. I love this type of video. So many new releases that I haven't heard of. I really really must read a Catherine Chidgy this year!
I don't really stay on top of new releases, etc so I'm grateful for videos like these. So many of them sound intriguing. I've made a list 😊

Oh, thanks for letting me know about the new releases you're looking forward to. I'll definitely look into them both :)
Could you please share where your gorgeous couch is from? Loved the video! :)
@@kaykay675-o2n it's from made.com 👍
So many good titles! Thank you for doing all this research.
had no idea there was a new Michael Pedersen release in the new year, what a treat! excited to hear all about these new releases 🤍
Wonderful list: I’m especially excited for the new Sarah Moss. You are so lucky with your library though: I request a ton of titles (front and backlist) and they NEVER actually get any of them
Urgh, that's so rubbish for you! I'd be so moody if my library turned down my requests 🤣

I'm glad it isn't just me then!
lots of books about pregnancy/new babies next year it seems!

I;m so glad to hear that you're enjoying/enjoyed Ties :)
Try Book of doors 🚪 by Gareth Brown
Very high on my list since I really liked the podcast she did a few years ago (called This land):
By the Fire We Carry by Rebecca Nagle
That sounds amazing so thanks for the recommendation!
My bank balance curses you (whereas I salute you)! Great recs here, thank you. ❤ xx

I wasn't aware of anything to do with Adichie but I checked and I know what you mean now 😬
Not the point of the video at all (although I have loved some of your recommendations) but where is your top from?
It's from a slow fashion brand called Harwood 😊
@ we love a slow fashion brand!
