One of my favorite stretching routines you do. It never fails, when my week hasn't been good; I look back and realize.....I haven't been stretching, working out, and my prayer life hasn't been where it needs to be. You are a huge part of my workout routines. I recommend you to everybody I know.
This is just so true! Whenever I stop using my body and mind, I just get so lost and sad. Going back to moving daily, reading my bible, and praying just heals and makes my life so much better!

I absolutely love the tortoise! I have a hard time doing butterfly because of my knees but tortoise is a great modified version! Also -- stoked to hear you were a theatre major! I am currently getting my degree for theatre. Great stuff! I really liked the last pose...I have IT band and hip issues and the left side and I really found some relief. My favorite pose is the chair twist and extended triangle.

SeanVigueFitness salut Sean, well it goes like this... im a snowborder and was racing hard boots and then was teaching here in at mt Tremblant then was dh racing for a few years and loved on to ki te surfing and of cours as a personnalise trainer myself ..was in the gym and running but eventually i got a few injurys ...now it is not the same ...i am a Tech and s it a lot of time so ...if i do no t stretch properly everyday. ..it has an impact on me in a couple of ways. ..very inconfortables. .,.tight, and not at easy what can i say ...i got to get to the matt and do me stuff stretching ..... so the snow has come here i got to go keep up the good work cheers to the baby and the dog

Thank you so much for another fantastic workout, as usual. But was wondering - you have a lot of stretches to improve the external hip rotation but as far as I can tell, no stretches to improve internal rotation. As a hockey goalie the internal rotation of the hips is key.
I am doing your 30 days Pilates Challenge and today's turn was for day 9 - Pilates Abs - 12 Minute Workout....so I did these stretches after that and it felt GREAT! I love all kinds of the MUDRAS :)

It seems pretty cool to wake and stretch where you are in the Colorado wilderness..Im just getting into your yoga routines and ever since I was younger I had poor flexibility but never any injuries really. I played all sports- soccer, tennis, badminton, golf, swimming, rock climbing etc you get the gist I love being active hate the gym but love the competitive sports. Now as Ive gotten older, Im 38, I have moved into coaching and don't move as much or have time to play sports and keep loose, but my biggest problem is I have zero flexibility it literally feels like things are going to snap trying certain poses, most poses :)) Any advise? Regarding the fireball stretch, if I can't quite get my left foot on top of my right thigh, do I simply keep trying to move it towards the thigh while I progress? Two weeks from now it'll be closer, four weeks from now even closer and so on and so forth?
Hi Alina, I do a lot of different sports and activities. I do weight training 3 times per week in addition to calisthenics, biking, hiking, sprints, power yoga etc. I recently started adding TRX suspension training and Kettlebells. LOVE the variety! Sean
I run almost every day but I never stretched very much, and I didn't realize how much it helped until after doing the stretches in this video. I could actually feel the toxins moving out of my legs and back. I will definitely be continuing to do stretches every day.

Good quick routine! All the straddling at the end left my lower back in kind of a knot, so I threw in a couple back bends (bridge and camel) to finish it up and I'm good to go!
A bit frustrating for me, since I couldn't do 80 % of theese due to my very unflexible body (soccer).. Do you have something stretching exercise for very tight people? :)
Matthew Chase i would say its normal at first when anyone starts stretching, but in your case I strongly suggest you to search on youtube "sean vigue back stretch" that is definitely going to help you with that stiffness and so you will perform better on day to day and you will be less stiff on your back when u do this stretching routine. Or search any "back stretch yoga" but sean has ones also
Lunchtime 2 mi power walk and followed up with this nice stretch!! A perfect lunch combo!! The fire log is my doom. My mind says I should be more flexible, but, wow, those legs don't want to move like a pretzel. I'll keep trying though. 😳
They weren't that bad, i was holding them for a liddle longer cause it felt good but that straddle .. Man, killer! I find that the back of my legs are extremely tight, those were harder for me. Im an advocate of Sean Vigue & a prudent student!

Good quick routine! All the straddling at the end left my lower back in kind of a knot, so I threw in a couple back bends (bridge and camel) to finish it up and I'm good to go!
A bit frustrating for me, since I couldn't do 80 % of theese due to my very unflexible body (soccer).. Do you have something stretching exercise for very tight people? :)
Is it bad that so many of these stretches my back tightness limits me? I've driven truck for many years and its super tight in lower back always.
Matthew Chase i would say its normal at first when anyone starts stretching, but in your case I strongly suggest you to search on youtube "sean vigue back stretch" that is definitely going to help you with that stiffness and so you will perform better on day to day and you will be less stiff on your back when u do this stretching routine. Or search any "back stretch yoga" but sean has ones also
Lunchtime 2 mi power walk and followed up with this nice stretch!! A perfect lunch combo!! The fire log is my doom. My mind says I should be more flexible, but, wow, those legs don't want to move like a pretzel. I'll keep trying though. 😳

They weren't that bad, i was holding them for a liddle longer cause it felt good but that straddle .. Man, killer! I find that the back of my legs are extremely tight, those were harder for me.
