Great informative video and I appreciate your time putting this together! I have a Sennheiser E835 with no signal out put. Do I need to replace the capsule only or the complete assembly and where is a good place to buy parts?
You can get the capsule and just use the original assembly. If you replace the entire assembly, you do not have to do any de-soldering, and resoldering. It is two pieces of plastic surrounding the capsule, held by an o-ring. You an purchase replacement capsules or the complete assembly on Ebay or Amazon. I would also look for an original Sennheiser part if you can. I just got a generic. Or go buy a working E835 that looks bad cosmetically but works and put in the good mic. E835 will get cheap. Live music places are drying up. In our area, 30% of the venues closed because off expense. Musicians will be selling all kinds of good to decent mics in anywhere from 2-6 months from now. Go on Ebay and search for e835 replacement capsule and up will come some results. THANK YOU for the reply and so glad it helped you. BTW search for e835 mics, you just may find a good cheap one.
That was a new capsule with the inside spacer the capsule is is secured to with an o ring. Didn't you watch the video? I said exactly that. I have had others commenters say how valuable this was. It was not just painting and singing.
@@timesdarkcaptains9170 The video needed to focus on you changing the capsule to be of any real use given your title. A little thought goes a long way.
i didnt know how much i needed this video until now. My sennheiser e835 stopped receiving signal a day before my show

What was that? You have shown nothing about capsule replacement. We got to hear you sing and paint.
