Another fun reaction, thanks! BTS is a global phenom... K-pop (Korean). Keep in mind that Earl left at the height of last summers' pandemic in FLORIDA. Whole families have been torn apart by covid. Plus, with touring impossible, VP U-turned into their youtube career, establishing an intense schedule, with Geoff and Layne each arranging /developing/editing a new song almost every month. (Rumors are that Geoff is working on something big, and that's why he didn't release one last month... but Layne released one PLUS 3 minis). What happened with Earl isn't public. Layne, Earl and Geoff were friends from middle school. That's longer than most marriages last! And with all of the covid-inspired changes... (Did you listen to their first song after Earl left? Has the flavor of a farewell and is GORGEOUS - Heart of Life. Listen if you haven't!!! From the beginning they've always brought in guest talent and folded them in seamlessly. So, when J joined the navy, it wasn't as hard for them as it would be for most groups to manage 2 guest singers instead of 1. It took them a year to settle on J; he was with them for 3 years. It was almost exactly a year after Earl left that they announced Cesar. I'm sure it was hard, but not the way it would be for people who haven't been working w/outside talent for 20 years. When you think about their history it shows recent turmoil but also intelligence, strength and resilience. Geoff and Layne seem to be the driving heart of VP, they do most of the arranging, videos and editing. Eli is doing more and more - in Layne's interview with Charismatic Voice he said that Eli is editing now, too. And of course, Eli's arrangement of Eleanor Rigby is breathtaking. So he's coming up the curve fast... there's a reason we fans have confidence in their ability to get through this.

It seems that they had quite a bit of fun making this one. The band was never in any danger, they were just preparing to level up so strongly it was like a Pokémon evolution.

This one is so crazy trying to catch everything going on in the video that after watching several times I realized I still wasn't actually hearing the music! I finally just listened to my Patreon mp3 to really enjoy the song itself! I really loved Cesar & Deejay in this. My favorite parts are when Eli slaps Geoff's hand reaching for the popcorn and when Cesar almost gets Layne's hand biting such a huge part of the Twinkie. You're correct about Hamilton. The guys mentioned on a chat or podcast that they did ask Deejay to join the group but he's still under contract with Hamilton from before the pandemic. I think the only other recent video you've missed is We're Good which was the first one with Cesar (as a featured artist with Adriana Arellano). Also, don't forget Geoff's Saddle Up.
I had to watch it a few times to really appreciate it to the full🤣 It really was a fun one and I cannot wait to see were good Saddle up will also be coming very soon😁🤗

It’s definitely a very catchy and upbeat song! I don’t listen to Pop music stations very often so I only know of BTS via TH-cam reactors (I usually just keep scrolling. Sorry!). This cover is brilliantly done! It’s fun and light and there definitely is some stuff going on in the back! Many of us dream about the day Deejay joins Voice Play. ☺️ He is such a talented singer! Those high notes are so effortless! Great reaction! I had fun watching you trying to keep up with everything going on!
To be honest I am also not that familiar with this type of music. But VP did an amazing job with this one and just the video alone made it worth watching😅😁

It's almost worth watching Heart of Life and The Bones back to back - the first one expresses their grief at losing a member, but the second (released right after Heart of Life) is about their resolve to continue as a solid group. Both beautiful songs.

Yes, Deejay is definitely not joining. He is in rehearsals in Arizona for the touring production of Hamilton (not Broadway). And VoicePlay needs to decide on someone else and resume touring. Waiting around is not the way to go. Obviously, my opinion. 🤷🏻♀️
