Stupid little thing but why are the numbers not uniform in size on the round discs?! They were on my friends older version!
It is one more way they are trying to aid people who are not good with statistics. The bigger numbers are more likely to be rolled on 2d6.

Yes, that is what the dots are for too. Generally, if they decided that knowing statistics wasn't supposed to give someone an advantage in the game, I'm fine that they did everything they could think to help people who need the help. I think it's better for people to play games that challenge them to grow rather than stick to simple ones that they know already. That's just my thought though...

It's $50 new. You can save some money online, and even more if you get it used (I have a link in the video description if looking for options; at the time I'm posting this they have a fair copy for about half price if you don't mind used.)

Seems more like a reprint.
The game itself is still the same game; from what I understand the art is new, though not so drastic of a change that you would be unable to mix game and expansions over different editions, and there may be a few rule clarifications in the rulebook. But it is not, say, a new edition in the sense that many RPGs use the term edition. Really more of a reprint with a fresh coat of paint.
I kind of like this art a little better than whats on my copy (no idea what edition I have)!
I agree. My buddy Dustin has one of the older editions as well, and I am quite happy with the art in this new edition.
