Distância Crítica | Smiljan Radic

Facing a growing lack of critical distance in contemporary architecture in Portugal versus a continuing critical distance between architecture and the public, in 2012, the Lisbon Architecture Triennale launches the programme Critical Distance. The programme includes not only a conference cycle, where invited architects are to present their projects and then enter a dialogue with architecture critics, but also a series of round tables in which we are asked to re-consider the influence and impact of a critical distance in architectural practice in Portugal.
The 2nd edition of Critical Distance, co-produced with CCB, began with a conference by Smiljan Radic followed of a conversation with Joaquim Moreno in 22 January 2015.
