Really like the lecture and the project is so amazing in process, long time, carefully develop and preserve the historical site. Really love how he presented and how he introduced his team/co-worker. Inspirational

Just wondering what material did they use to create the models.

I remember reading how sad was for Goethe being conceived in the zenith of his life as a "Living Monument", I don't know the connotation in today's world, but I'm sure one must like to feel alive

What‘s so wrong about staying at a holiday-inn if you are not a diva?

I'll admit I was a little baffled by this lecture by what is often called the greatest architect alive.
1:05:50 "i like this because... you can see why"
No. This is a lecture. It is the lecturer duty to share his vision, to share with listeners his thought processes. The example above is very indicative of his entire approach to the discourse in this occasion.
Language barrier can be a factor here but I have to admit that while Zumthor may be the greatest architect in the world, he may not be the most brilliant communicator (and that's fine)

The fact that this is being recognized as amazing makes me really sad and angry when there are some real talent and geniuses that can layer so many beautiful things and concept in a rich and harmonious way... This is just a performance...

@6:58 I feel bad to say this, but this is something extremely arrogant to say; even more for someone who behaves in a very spiritual way.
